Toronto Raptors

....to show you just how far the NBA has sunk into oblivion.....the Raptors scored 5 points....JUST 5 POINTS.....in the 4th quarter last night......and WON THE GAME!

So whats more unlikely - them winning the game after making single FG in 4th quarter or big AL sending game into overtime with 3 pointer?

TRADE IDEA TO IMPROVE RAPTORS:
w/ Chicago Bulls
Chicago trades Carlos Boozer for Calderon and Amir Johnson/ Linas Kleiza

Chicago is committed to Taj Gibson as their future PF and have been looking to amnesty Boozer probably this summer. Calderon is an expiring contract and can fill in as PG until Derrick Rose is back. Amir, especially, would be an adequate back-up PF behind Gibson.

Toronto has many weakness, but rebounding and post play is a big one. Boozer is a strong defensive rebounder and can score in the paint. He can play with outside-shooting Bargnani, just as he did Okur. A team of Bargnani, Lowry, Boozer, and Valanciunas could be competitive for a low playoff seed in the east. Toronto also has a hard time signing free agents, so Boozer fills a need, as no other All-Star caliber player will sign with them.

Seems like win-win to me. Agree or disagree?

Boozer would help on offense but on defense he is the same matador as Bargnani, except Bargs is 7 footer so he at least blocks occasional shot. I think they would rather take Taj Gibson then Boozer. Perfect trade for them would be to trade Bargnani for David West.

...I don't even know why I'm contributing to this thread, but ANY team that takes on Boozer for more than the NBA minimum has made a huge mistake!
