Tracking the Jazz in the Hollinger Playoff Odds

It's my understanding that it's unprotected. On the Hollinger playoff odds page you'll note that the Lakers have no chance of winning the lottery.

This changes everything! Now I really want the Lakers to miss the playoffs, win the lottery with the #1 pick, and lose it at the same time. That would keep me giggling through most of the offseason.

If that happened and Dwight Howard signed with another team, that would be wonderful.

The Lakers' loss last nght helped out the Jazz. The other thing of note is that I haven't paid a lot of attention to the Rockets lately in terms of how well they're playing. I'm really just looking for a W or an L, but it seems crazy how well they're projected to finish. The playoff odds project them to go 15-6 the rest of the way to finish 48-34. Is their schedule THAT easy and/or are they playing THAT well?

There schedule is that easy. Plus the numbers are a little off because every 5th game or so they blow out a team by 40 points. And margin of victory is part of Hollingers formula
