Trade Alec Burks?

ok to start off, I'm a big Burks fan. However, I also am a fan of Hayward at the 2. Because the Jazz need a quality point, would you trade Burks for any of these scenarios?

1. Burks to Detroit for either the #8 pick or Brandon Knight? (might have to include other pieces)
2. Burks to Minnesota for the #9 pick
3. Burks to Portland for the #10 pick?

Of course, this depends on who's availabe at 8-10, but with this draft being fairly point guard heavy, I kinda like the idea. If Utah could get McCollum or MCW with one of these picks, and then use #14 on a big like Adams or Gobert, and #21 and #46 on another point guard or shooter, I think I consider trading Burks.

Ideal:
#8-10: McCollum or MCW
#14: Adams or Gobert
#21: Larkin, Bullock, or Wolters
#46: Jackson or Siva

#21 and #46 are hard predict because you never know who might slip

Thoughts?

Thoughts are those GMs aren't retarded. Burks might get you a #15 or #16, maybe to the one team he had a good game against.
 
Not for MCW or McCollum or Burke. Burks is only going to get better as he get's stronger, unless he's got a bad attitude or has some other off the court issues, I don't see why you give up on him. His ability to get to the basket and finish and his improving shot are things the Jazz will need going forward.
 
**** no, and if a team wouldn't trade 5-10 for Burks, then they are retarded. Burks looks like he can be special. I don't know why we have to keep going over this. If you can't see that Burks is going to be really good, then you aren't a very good judge of basketball talent.
 
Like you said, it's a point guard heavy draft and a lot of teams in front of the Jazz already have quality starting points. There will be a good selection at 14.
 
If a 20 year old Burks was in this draft, he'd go top 8. Y'all needa stop panicking about this pg situation. MCW or Schroeder will drop to us, there's no one picking ahead of us that has a big need for a pg with the exception of the Magic who are too high and the Mavericks who are looking to trade out.

I agree. Would not trade him for anything less than a top 10 pick.
