Can somebody tell me why CHI is so intent on trading Butler? Isn't he a franchise type player? Is there something I don't know about?

Butler is malcontent and like we have seen with Cousins, you get more value the earlier you trade a player when they have more years left on their contract.

Windhorst was on ESPN not long ago saying the Bulls are trying to move Mirotic and anyone other than Butler.

The C's have a trove of assets and with pieces like Jaylen Brown and Avery Bradley and picks involved could get it done.

I guess it's unlikely tho, I was just guessing based on rumblings around IT's social media posts
