Seems to give give up quite a few easy layups to dump it off to the big man for the assist.
Overall I'd be very excited if he joined us though. I mean this is less than 12 months ago.
Also DL has been going on about the Jazz wanting to follow the example of the 2004 Detroit Pistons team right?
How about the addition of Rasheed Wallace? Wasn't he a bad apple with attitude problems when he was added to that team? He was instrumental to that team winning the Championship was he not?
There is a mountain of difference between the quality of the player and the magnitude of the off-court issues. Did Rasheed even have off-court issues?
Sources said, though, that the Jazz are looking at potential deals for other veteran point guards besides Lawson as Thursday's deadline nears.
From Marc Stein:

So the Jazz are looking at other Vet PG options too.
Also, if the Jazz are interested in getting either Teague or Hill, it helps to have them first say they're probably going to stay out of the fray of deadline deals AND have it leak that Houston might be looking to swap Lawson for Burke (thereby showing value in the Jazz's asset) before negotiations get hot and heavy.
No I said worst case scenario. I don't believe that would happen.I know I'm late, but Jesus dude, do you really have so little faith in our players? Lawson is just going to destroy everything we've built?
I LOVE the risk/reward scenario here. And an extra first rounder out of the deal? Hell yea.
Did I say that? I said the picks are worthless. For every Hood and Gobert you have far more Padgett's and Quincy Lewis'. Don't forget we bought that pick that was used for Gobert for peanuts.Ah yes. Hood and Gobert are worthless, huh?
And to those who say "well why do we need another ball handler when we already have Hayward and Hood"?
Well I would say Hayward and Hood are ball handlers 'by default' because of a lack of a decent PG. If we have an elite passer on our team I think Hayward and Hood would get much better looks for their shots and easier catch-and-shoot or catch-and-drive opportunities which has got to be good for the team.
Utah is a pass friendly team, can't compare us to HOU which offense is dominated by James 'I-always-go-1-on-5' Harden.
