Trade for Pau Gasol?

I think HOU would bend over backwards to get Gasol (at least #14 & #16 & proven player).

So I don't see us getting him for just Jefferson + fillers...

Exactly, unless they please every single naysayer. Otherwise, just deal with the **** they throw at every trade idea thread. I kind of want to start throwing out trade ideas just to piss them off.
 
I'll tell you what, this trade makes sense for the Lakers, they need cap space for true year after this one and Al helps out with that. Word is, they also want in on the D12 sweepstakes...Kobe's old and they need to buy a new star

Even more though, Pau Gasol and Favors makes this team elite...Gasol is real good...probably my favorite center in the NBA right now....

I think the Lakers go 100 times out of 100 for an athletic near all-star PF rather than a slow low-post-threat C. Both have one year left on their contracts if they are worried about cap space.

I think you have completely misunderstood me here. I don't hate you for posting crappy trade ideas. I hate you for wanting to ruin the Jazz.

And actually, I don't even really hate anyone(well, almost). My post was really just an ironic joke. You see, by agreeing with PKM, I was saying I hated everyone except me, which would include PKM, cuz he's not me.

I think some of you guys need to lighten the **** up.

As far as crappy trade threads go, I'm fine with them. You just keep 'em comin', and then we can continue to discuss how much your ideas suck.:p
