I think sitting was a good move. He was having one of his sad puppy games. Let him sit and watch the game, and make him come out in the 3rd with a bit more attitude from being benched.
If we are not going to develop him, just give him token starts, at least get something for him.
We are balancing minutes across way too many players.
Let me get this straight - 2nd year pro who has started every game and averaging 28 minutes per game and we are not developing him. Hmm
28 minutes is good, but just think, if we play him twice as much, he will develop twice as fast. I'm thinking 56 MPG sounds good. Obviously, we can't go to overtime every game, so Ty should make him shoot practice shots during time outs and half-time.
I agree with the premise Ty is balancing the minutes across too many players, but completely disagree about trading Hayward. He's the future of our franchise. Give him at least 30 minutes a game.

While I agree that Hayward should be playing over Howard and CJ. He played like crap in his 8 first half minutes. What did, or has he done to show he should be played more when playing like that?

He did not play like crap. His defense was spot on as normal. The offense really did not include him at all.
His only points was from a transition layup (He did miss a 3)
