Trade Kanter for Faried?

we'll see if kanter will show more character in his game or not in time. bynum's struggle against shaq when he was a rookie was smth I appreciated. a rookie that says u can't push me around is a rook that I respect. kanter said that he is not afraid of anything. and I bet he really isn't. but he's just a kid. I don't expect a mature character from him on the floor and in his interactions with his teammates, fans, coach and the board. I just look forward to see him get over his psyche out. coz he really is much better than what he showed.

He can improve quite a bit in a few years, if he works his *** off as much as I think he will. He already has some polish to his game. Well farried is good there is no denying that.
but i'm saying we cant have both sap and farried on the same team.(atleast at the pf spot).

it is no coincidence we finally beat lakers in la.

At the moment Enes's BBIQ is pretty bad. Personally I think he can learn the game, but I don't think he is some kind of basketball prodigy. It is going to take some time. Probably a couple of years before we can see what he is in the NBA.

As for trading for Faried- I wouldn't do it straight up. Faried is a fully formed player. He played 4 years in college and is pretty much at his ceiling.

Well this thread really wasnt about Kanter's intellegence, but Fresh kind of pushed it that way. Really I dont even want to trade Kanter and I like him. I just wanted to point out I want to trade for him, and Kanter was an example of what I would give up.

Faried is really who I want to talk about. People keep saying he is 22 and has hit his ceiling. I dont think he has. He definitely has alot to learn about the game. His atleticism and coordination may be done developing, but thats fine. He doesnt need anymore. Certainly though he will get better shooting and knowing the game. Again, he is only 22. Are you saying that all our players will be done developing at 22. The answer is no.

Maybe we neee to explore other 4 year players. Ill start. Tim Duncan

Does it hurt your feelings that 1 of your wildcat sucks in the nba? Faried a much better player then CantDo oops im mean kanter. Every gm in league would take faried over him. With that being said this is a dumb trade idea. Like the nuggets would say sure lets trade a good player for a bench player. They traded nene cuz thats how much they like faried. Nuggets future looking really bright while jazz future looks like 8 seed and lottery picks.

I have high hopes for Kanter, but I also have high hopes for Faried. Actually **** high hopes. Dude is sick right now. This guy plays his *** off and he has skills too. Reminds of like if Lebron and Wade were blood brothers, then Faried could be too. His athleticism is off the charts. He plays like Dwight Howard down there. I wanted to say mini, but he is playing a lot bigger than he is.

I dont know, I just like him. I think he has a bright future. And frankly Kanter's lack of athleticism scares me.

Makes no sense for either team. If Utah valued Faried over Kanter, they could've simply drafted him last June. Even if you feel like Faried will be the superior player, trading the guy you picked 3rd overall for the guy picked 22nd after only 1 season is occupational suicide and only fantasized on message boards. I'm sure Faried's suprised alot of people but nothing has happened to Kanter's development that is reason enough for the organization to give him up this quickly after investing in him so heavily.

Also completely illogical for Denver because Faried fits the Nuggets' style perfectly. Denver is at their best pushing the tempo, playing a fastbreaking style of basketball and Faried is precisely the high-energy, up&down big they need. Kanter's slower, more plodding back-to-the-basket style would clash with what Denver is trying to build, not to mention the fact that Faried's clearly NBA-ready right now as a PF and Kanter is still in the developmental stages of his career.

Other than that, solid proposal.

An 8 seed and lottery picks because rookies and 2nd year players don't get better. That makes sense. Get off the Jazzfanz and get back in your brothers ********.
 
Ok. I get it. You dont like Faried.

If KOC could go back in time, I would prefer he turn the Kanter pick into two first rounders, and get Faried and Thompson. We would have been a lot better this year at least
