I think he has some game, but I don't know if he'll ever be a truly effective player with his style. He's definitely worth taking a flier on though, a change of scenery can make a big difference. I would have liked to see him on this team in the Rudy Gay minutes.

He does some things that could be useful as a role player on a good team (shooting, defense of a sort), but there's also some things I question for the Jazz's situation: contract, not really a well-rounded player (not much rebounding, playmaking, for example).

My guess on what bigmike is alluding to is that it's probably a trade involving John Collins and we send out Vando and Beasely. But my guess is that other teams would be involved such as Phoenix, Miami and so on which could make it more interesting and more players get involved. However, Ainge does throw curveballs and pulls out a fantastically valued deal out of the blue from time to time.
