I'd like to hear the negotiations from Danny though... "hey you just got 4 picks and swaps for Rudy... so what will you give for Ayton"

Ayton scares the **** out of me... He couldn't keep toeing the line for CP and Monty... not sure we have the culture that will work for him. I guess it could be a buy low but that's a risky one too.

The upside for Ayton here is that we have no one else to take shots other than Don currently (assuming two of JC/Bogey/Conley are dealt) so we could get him a lot of touches.

My biggest complaint is that I just hate bigs who dont draw fouls. I think Ayton is a very good finesse player, but I hate finesse bigs (especially ones who dont shoot 3's and aren't "fun").

What can we send for Ayton? Would phoenix consider Bogie and extras?

Or... if Miami is getting KD... we could give some picks for Bam. Danny Ainge and Pat Riley high stakes battle may take 6 months to decide though.

They dont want to pay him at all so I would assume just a pick, Bogey, and Clarkson?

But then again, I have no idea how S&T's actually work, so idk.

I can't imagine Indiana or SA are giving much for Ayton... if Phoenix needs another pick for Brooklyn then we might get him "cheap". The rumor was Brooklyn didn't want Ayton. I think we would have a lot of bargaining power as I don't see a ton of places for Ayton.

That contract... if it is a max... would scare the **** out of me.
