Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

Amazing to actually have some interesting young players on the roster again too. Lots of guys to kick tires on even if we can't pivot this into anything competitive in the near future.

Bolmaro likely a bust, but I have some hope.

We will see on Kessler. Kind of ironic we traded Rudy for the smaller NCAA version of Rudy.

Not a fan of Beasley at all (also a player with domestic abuse past), but he isnt guaranteed next year so there's that at least.

Vanderbilt is a solid bench piece.

Malik, Bev, and Vanderbilt are all really movable pieces. Would guess DL could get like 5-6 second rounders for them... converted to Ainge dollars it will be like 9 first round picks or Luka or something.

There's a lot of speculation that we will pursue Ayton using Bojan and draft assets.

I hope we only send out Minny 2023 and not more.

I hope not. Jazz should prioritize adding tradeable assets, young CHEAP players with upside or clearing out cap space next year and having a MAX slot available - prioritize WINGS instead of bigs for their top 3 players. If you’re going to trade away Gobert, use value players to replace him. Don’t go add a new center on a max contract.

Poeltl into our TPE would be better

I don't like Ayton at a bad contract # but I do think he could fit well.

It's a buy low situation too. Not many buyers with money and/or solid player and picks.

I think all eyes are on the Kevin Durant move and the premium it will take to win now. I do think there's probably interest in sending Mitchell to MIA, but think Ainge is playing hardball and wanting more than they want to pay.

A S&T for Ayton is tied to anything for KD - if we offload Mitchell, we ain't getting Ayton and 2022 is a scorched earth year with Ainge laughing as he swims in his Scrooge McDuck money pit of future #1's.
