Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I don't see us winning a championship... I'd rather Rudy than Lebron or Steph. I think Minnesota will be good so the difference between a few picks is nothing to whine like a child about. It's not going to move the needle.

Whatever helps you rationalize your weird feelings. I want the picks to be as good as possible. 25 is better than 30. 20 is better than 25. I don’t give a **** who wins if it’s not us.

I mean it just depends but after seeing the Thunder get SGA/significant draft picks and the Pelicans getting Ingram/significant draft picks I'd imagine that's the baseline for what they'd want.

The Wolves are in win now mode so they had to keep him, try to make those picks late 20's instead of in the lottery.
Don is not worth nearly as much as Kawhi+PG or AD were when those trades were made. Not in the same ballpark.

You're probably still upset about Hayward but he was the right type of man in Utah...
Brother, breathe first. This also is not an English sentence.

Again, you’re claiming I’m racist? That would be super awkward for my wife and children.

I ain't no damn alt, I've been here for a while but the Rudy nut hugging and fandom / racist hate against Donovan has been weird.
Hugging one black man’s nuts while simultaneously hating the other for
The same skin color?

Because the forum is filled with a bunch of losers. They picked a side after the Rudy/Don Covid thing and they haven't looked back.

Their side isn't Utah. It's Rudy and their opponent is Donovan Mitchell.

People like Gobert because he accepted Utah and wanted to be here. People aren't as enthusiastic about Mitchell because he doesn't want to be here and doesn't like it here.
We like Gobert because he played his guts out every game. We're more apathetic towards Mitchell because of his lack of effort and the defense that consistently got worse every year.

Of course we are all going to root for Don as long as he is on the Jazz. The intelligent fans amongst us will root for Gobert, acknowledging that he's one of the few superstars that played his guts out and even more rarely seemed to embrace our community.

This is why it sucks that we traded him and I hope that it is justified by going into full tank mode. There is no future where building around a second tier star who doesn't like it here is good for us. It's not good for Donovan either, get him where he wants to be and he'll player better (and be happier).
