if he didn't want the bag being so old already, and full of self love on his sleave etc. He would fit this roster a bit , but overall cannot see much interest in him even in a s/t

I see him as a free agent. We are going to throw money at someone, so why not him. Timeline is a little wonky, but the quality goes up to be competitive. We have a million picks so we can risk things. If he won't sign at a reasonable price then it sets up the Jazz to do another trade. Maybe we could get a 2023 or a 2024 draft pick out of it if it falls apart. If it works out well and the team gets a championship then it would be worth it.

Oh...yeah...one major downside, is that maybe Vando would view him as threat to his job, but I think Vando would still fit. But we get more depth and we get another near top-line weapon on the team.

You are seriously on crack. Kuz isn't nearly the player you think he is and is an average defender at best. That team wouldn't even sniff a championship and Kuz would definitely stunt the growth of Lauri.
There is no upside for him to consider doing that. It would also be completely meaningless if he did since he actually wouldn't be locked into anything.
