How do you not know what I am talking about when your post was about only trading for Kuzma if he agreed to an extension even though that isn't even a possibility.
 
Not sure about Kuzma He's a good player
Vanderbilt seems like a similar type player Jazz already have
He's younger and cheaper
 
Kuzma is extension eligible but the max amount he can be extended for is likely less than what he could receive in the off-season. After researching it a bit more I don’t think it would be a good idea trading for him. Basically a one-year rental unless he wanted to stay.

Comparing Kuz to Vando is like comparing apples to oranges it’s like the only comparison is they are both round… like saying Vando and Kuz are both professional basketball players. Lol
 
What do you all think about Porzingis? He seems healthy finally. He would be waaaaay better than Olynyk.

I guess it would come down to what they want for him. It would be a gamble because of his injury history.

I'll play "Devil's Advocate" and disagree here. I think the trades we recently made with Minnesota and Cleveland were both significant without either landing us a clearly established top-20 player. So I'd be quite happy if Ainge could pull off something similar this season, getting unprotected picks for someone who does not fit our timeline.

You're making a lot of sense lately. Are you feeling ok? Do you have a brain parasite or something? I'm worried about you bro.
 
I think Ainge needs to keep the draft in mind with any deals that could present themselves prior to the deadline. There are some bigger athletic wings that will be available. Possibly a few of them could develop into potential franchise type players.

Outside the draft, maybe a youngish guy with untapped potential (John Collins?) could fit the bill as a "buy low" candidate depending on the cost to acquire him and how desperate the Hawks might be to cut payroll. Maybe someone like Lonzo who is also "buy low" at this point with his injury issues could be a target. Just spitballing here..
 
Kuzma also:
1) has 60 touches per game this season (wont get close to that here)
2) stated he wants to play in a big market
3) is a 3.. and we need a 4 to upgrade Olynyk/Gay... Lauri and Beasley better at 3

The trades with Minnesota and Cleveland are significant because the jazz were able to stick up the asset cupboard. Now we have the ammo to get a top 10-20 player and truely elevate the team.
