He's in his 2nd season....I agree with the no Vando for Bones straight up, dude is no good.
If he can't figure out how to score well off Jokic it's gonna get ugly anywhere else.
He's literally the worst player in on/off differential in the league. I realize part of that is being a bench player on the Nuggets but whatever his talent is, it is not working to make good productive basketball.Bones got a lot of talent.

I would trade JV for 2nd season Collin Sexton on his rookie contract too. He's literally the worst player in on/off differential in the league. I realize part of that is being a bench player on the Nuggets but whatever his talent is, it is not working to make good productive basketball.
This from the guy that hates Sexton... weird.
And the Jazz are going to trade a number of them...We have enough guards on the roster who need playing time already.
I'd do it too... but I'm more excited about the pick and I think we'd find the fit issues with Walker to be similar to Capela. There are more than a few that would do it straight up and I'm just not there.
Sexton was a way better prospect... and had shown more promise. I'll pass.I would trade JV for 2nd season Collin Sexton on his rookie contract too.
I just think the Collins that is worth 25M needs to be a big part of the screen game and Walker to be maximized is going to need that role as well. I just think if you want guys that can shoot and play defense JC isn't the way to go.The fit issues with Kessler concern me less because I think his role has as much to do with his regression than his fit with a non-shooting big. It would be ideal if he was the only big on offense, but there's some middle ground between that and standing around like he does now. I think the Jazz run a much more dynamic offense than the Hawks do and Collins will find more success. I also think the disdain that he reportedly has with Trae Young is a factor. ATL seems like a toxic situation, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him much happier in a different situation even if his role is not much different.
He's also not been that bad with Capela anyways. I'd be happy if he just got his jump shot back. He's a much improved/underrated defender who would be dynamite on offense as a 4/5 combo with Lauri.
More talent for sure, but Bones has a better game with his potential to be a high volume/high % 3pt shooter.Sexton was a way better prospect... and had shown more promise. I'll pass.

Man I said Sexton was more talented. It's far from hating, it's just factual. Bones is the better defender, better passer, better shooter, has better length and has a game that fits better in the modern NBA. He could develop a lot in Utah as he has more natural lead guard ability than Sexton does. Hes not a guy I love by any means, but the deal makes sense for both teams. Jazz need a PG of the future and Bones is just a guy who could have a chance.Sexton is a career 38.2% 3PT shooter on 3.7 attempts per game. I think he should shoot one threes. Bones does not have a better game lol. You are a nasty hater.

Sexton only take 3.7 per game and he passes up a ton of open 3's. He stops the ball, has poor vision, is a bad team defender, and routinely gets yelled at by the coach.
Bones Hyland is probably the worst defender in the entire NBA which is backed up by the advanced stats. Denver can't put him on the floor in the playoffs.Man I said Sexton was more talented. Bones has a 6'9.5 wingspan with a 8'5.5 standing reach....Bones Hyland is probably the worst defender in the entire NBA. Denver can't put him on the floor in the playoffs.
I don't think Beasley, JC, Sexton, NAW, or THT are the archetype SG for a Hardy offense. I know for a fact Bones is definitely NOT a Hardy type player. Bones is also a 6'-2" stick. Maybe some young team like Orlando or a stupid team like Minnesota gives him a shot but highly, highly doubt Ainge would send assets for him.
He plays the same amount of minute with Jokic as he does DeAndre Jordan.I agree with the no Vando for Bones straight up, dude is no good.

No, I just think he's a 2nd year player with promise...You make Bones sound like some amazing player. Then I check his advanced stats plus his splits and it is quite the opposite.

And still a better defender than Collin Sexton...He’s still a terrible defender.
