Guys this thread is moving way too fast. Cant keep. Can someone summarize like the last 10 pages or so?

I don't know...if they offered both the 27 and 29 first round picks, I might be tempted to pull the trigger. Those picks could be very valuable.
 
The Lakers will have so much $ coming off the books between now and 2027 they can just buy a new super team, before even taking into consideration the exploding CBA/TV deal.

Have a hard time banking on those picks being valuable. No thanks on Westbrook for my $.
 
Honestly all this trade talk with the nets has me intrigued by Ben Simmons again. At this point my hope for him to turn into a decent outside shooter is non existent but he is still a playmaker and an elite defender. Is there anyway a Simmons, Lauri, Kessler front court can work offensively if you have 2 really good shooters at pg and sg? Defensively that would be a beastly front court. Simmons has been pretty good this year paired with Claxton and 3 shooters this year. I really like the idea of Cason Wallace and Jordan Hawkins paired in the back court with those up front. Both guys project as really good 3pt shooters and defensively they look solid.

I think those are kinda the players. Bulls have not been willing to rebuild but I wonder if they were counting on the lakers as a safety net on the Lavine contract and would feel some pressure. Zach’s deal is dicey as hell and I’d be looking to move it sooner than later if I was them.

They ALMOST got it right. Russ to the Jazz, Kyrie to the Lakers, the triple threat to the Nets.

If the Nets lose Kyrie, who initiates the offense? Seth Curry? Cam Thomas? Patty Mills? David Duke Jr? Dru "hair" Smith? Or Edmond Friggin Sumner? They need guard depth. We have guard depth.

So, hold on for a sec... how's about MIKE CONLEY? Need an upgrade to Patty Mills? JC!!! Every contender needs a hustle guy. Vanderbilt will work his tail off for Durant.

We can ease the tax burden by taking by a pair of those no names if you throw in another pick. ;)

You also purge the cap and can go shopping for FAs and trades on players you really want. In addition to our own pick going from 17 to maybe like 8-9 or higher.

We trade those picks in a couple years and add some help we really need when we need it.
