Jazz do it to bring the real nasty at center, huge defensive and 3 pt upgrade in Afflalo.

Knicks do it to get the coveted Crymelo. They don't do it because they gut pretty much everything else except Amare. They're dumb enough to do it.

Denver does it because they actually get something good (and young) for Crymelo, and possibly improve.

Link sux.

Jazz get A. Afflalo, C. Anderson, and R. Mason to balance the money.
Knicks get Crymelo and Elson
Denver gets Sap, Gallinari, Chandler and Felton

I'm only interested in trade ideas started by chochem.

I'd prefer a sign and trade with Milsap for Marc Gasol.

Slide AJ to the 4 and resign AK47 for $4M per for 3 years.

Chad Ford, in his NBA chat today on espn.com, even mentioned that he believes that no one on the TWolves is untouchable.

Offer Milsap+CJ for Love (sign and trade)

Did I read that right? Millsap and Elson for Aaron Afflalo and Chris Andersen? That can't be what you're proposing.

Andersen is kinda poo now, he had one great year and got a lot of publicity, a nice contract, and hasn't been great since.

Would love Afflalo though, but not for Sap.

i want to like kevin love but the only player i've seen less interested in playing defense is carlos boozer

Yeah, the frontcourt of Love and Jeff worked out so well for the TWolves. C'mon bro.

Millsap isn't a legit star but he's one of the most well-rounded players you'll find in the NBA. He doesn't do anything that Love does well better than Love, but he's 10x the defender and we've seen Love and Jefferson already suck together.

And to the initial trade, are you out of your butt-****ing mind? One of our 3 best players for a poor-man's younger Raja Bell and a guy that's played, what, maybe one season worth a damn? No ****ing way. People are supposed to be suggesting trades where we are robbing other teams, not the other way around.

Not at all. The Jazz are on the verge of being contenders and must make a move if they want to have a shot. This team is not going to get it done. The Jazz are really good but not great. They're in the same boat Atlanta is in. The only valuable trade chip Jazz have is Millsap. I wouldn't be dead set on getting equal trade value in return as much as upgrading spots where upgrading is necessary to contend. AJ and Sap run the same plays. The hole is at the 2-3 and interior defense. Anderson is a tall guy and would pair well in the paint with AJ. He'd also provide enough room for Fes to get some minutes. AA is a great outside shot and an excellent defender. Name one thing he isn't doing better than Bell. I'd trade Bell straight across for AA, but that's not going to happen.

If you don't like it then find something better that will put the Jazz over the hump. Without a trade we're looking at a nice run, but another WFC loss.

Raja Bell in his prime was a better shooter and defender than Afflalo is in his prime (right now, he's not that young). Afflalo is a better player than Bell now, but that doesn't mean he's what we're missing. The Jazz are missing another consistent offensive pillar and a defensive rebounder. Neither of those players help us at all in those categories. In fact, Millsap is better at scoring and rebounding than both of those players.

If we trade Millsap, it has to be in a package for a legit star. A pillar. Afflalo and Andersen? Come on. Lateral move at ABSOLUTE best.

Would Hayward and Price just not play for the rest of the year? Jefferson has space to operate how? Do we know if Memo will ever be the player he was? Why would NY want Elson, why would we trade Elson?

Elson makes the money work. I wouldn't want to trade him otherwise.

Afflalo can't score? He's putting up 12.5 on a Carmelo team. He's shooting 43% 3pt and just over 50% from the field. He can score just fine. Give him the looks D-Will is giving both Raja and Chucker and he could put up 16 easy. And check his defense again.

Anderson is putting up 6.7 boards and 1.42 blocks in 20 minutes. Saying he's not an upgrade over Sap in the rebounding department is laughable at best. You must not be an NBA fan.

And to be totally fair, their on-court playing time was limited to the low minutes he was getting anyway. Plus their coach was ramming the triangle down their throats when it clearly wasn't working.

Anderson is not a center, he is 228 lbs lol. He is also 32 years old, and barely gets time on the floor anymore. So you just pissed away the second best player on our team for...Aaron Affalo?
