@Lockedonsports: NBA officials report on final 2 mins is out . 2 calls missed. both non calls should have called fouls on Jazz players but weren't called.

They must be referring to the non-calls at the end of the game to stop the clock? They must be.

Those Trailblazers did a great job of winning in spite of the refs, right?

Nope.

Joe Ingles set a moving pick went uncalled and Trey Burke grabbed arm of Crabbe on loose ball uncalled. No other misses by officials

I actually don't think the Jazz should have had a foul called earlier to stop the clock late in the game. Trey had the chance to foul Lillard who was just kind of waiting for the foul. But once Trey hesitated, Lillard had time to pass the ball and then it looked like the Jazz really were a second late on the next attempt before the pass to Aldridge that led to the obvious goal-tending call.

I thought he was good too. The problem with him is that even in his best games he still shoots about 50%.

50% on lower volume and then chucks up 20 shots to make 4 on other nights. All averages out to his 38%. Simply can't have a player shooting that poorly.
And yes, I feel the same about Exum's shooting. However, a) Dante doesn't take 15 shots per game, b) Exum is a very good defender and c) he's essentially the equivalent of a college freshman right now. Trey is a chucker two years removed from two years of college basketball. And he'll never be mistaken for a good defender.

You don't seem to understand basketball very well. In a sport were you can only possess the ball 24 seconds per offensives possession there will be at least "X" number of shots during a game. Who on this team is better qualified to take those shots? It's the main reason he was moved to the bench. Trey has been told to be aggressive offensively without legit scoring options around him. With do you think is going to happen. Again Trey's fg%'s has to improve significantly, but that's doable and it's what usually happens when you have guys with his kind of work ethic.

Judging Trey this season on his shot attempts without enough legit scoring options to pass the ball to just isn't a smart evaluation move. Nobody on this team averages more than 4 assist. Burke still being the team leader. This is with other facilitating players like Hayward, Inglies, and Exum all getting big mins.

Burke has many flaws in his game. All of which are correctable. It will take time and work. All those that don't like him have plenty to bitch about. However the number of shot attempts isn't one IMO. Shot selection (which has already improved greatly) is much more of a concern than number of shots.
