Training Camp Invites

Mejri probably offers us more than Tomic at this point seeing as how he competes on defense.
I like Washington game. We could use a nasty energy guy off the bench. I think he has more overall skills than Evans.
Stockton is a guy we can look to next year.

Mejri has something we don't have on the current roster; HEIGHT. And, he appears to be in good shape, runs the court well, and has exceptional agility and quickness for a 7'1" guy. "Crash" is an energy guy, but is smaller and not as long as Carroll.
If we don't sign Mejri, someone else will; guy's got skills we could use!
Simms, TBH, has looked a bit passive to me, and not as long as Mejri.

Also, dont ask for someones opinion if your not going to respect it.

BTW I don't even have to watch him play in the summer league. My brother was All-Conference for the Frontier with MSU-N. So trust me I have seen enough of him play

You named two plays where he made mistakes. Nobody plays perfect. I'm not saying Stockton deserves a spot on the team, but I'm not going to say nonesense about how he has been playing. He' played very impressive and it's clear with the "my brother was All-Conference.....I've seen enough of him....." that you're not here nor there with him. It's apparent you're trying to make him look like he's played miserable in the summer league games, when in reality, he's played impressive.

BTW, it's not that I don't respect your opinion, I just don't agree with it.

Brian T. Smith: DeMarre Carroll (left ankle sprain) will attempt to play against Pacers. ... Salah Mejri is no longer with #UtahJazz's #SummerLeague team Twitter

Does anyone know what happened to Salah Mejri? I thought he was playing very well and deserved an invite to camp. I wonder if he already got an offer from another team and didn't want to risk injury. I thought he would be a good 3rd strong center and possibly get some minutes.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him on a Vegas roster. Some guys do that. He may have come to Orlando with that understanding.

As for Carroll, who said he'd be out for the rest of the games, I'm sure the coaching staff reminded him he's playing on a non-guaranteed contract.
