Trey Burke led the Jazz with 20 points in Saturday night's win over the Suns. Burke is the first rookie from the University of Michigan to score at least 20 points in a November NBA game since Chris Webber had three 20-point games in his first month as a pro back in 1993.

In pretty good company I'd have to say....

Pretty loose definition of "record".

This just in, my son set a record. He was the third kid of mine to get mad when I wouldn't give him the car keys until his room and laundry were done. My oldest son first did this back in 2008 when he wanted to take a couple of friends out for pizza, but hadn't finished his homework.

Yeah, but was your third son playing in the NBA though?

I read the first post without seeing who posted it, thought to myself as I scrolled down, "This is almost as bad as a Hotnickkkkkkkkk post" then scrolled back up to see who the poster was.

I'm now wearing a self-satisfied smirk.

Just wasted a few minutes reading it.. and a few more seconds typing this also worthless post.

How did you miss the BIG Clint Eastwood photo in the OP?!?!

This thread has a definite buckner vibe to it.

Trey set a record that will likely never be broken, and will go down in the annals of the NBA, as the only Jazz player with a 4 letter nick-name starting with T and rhyming with "ray" to go 5-17 in their first winning effort in their rookie year, and still be talked about in the fandom as the team's best shooter.

To put this record into perspective...Following Chris Webber being drafted in 1993 up until the 2013 draft, Michigan has only produced 5 players drafted in the first round (ZERO in the last decade - prior to the 2013 draft). Pretty weak when you compare that to the Kentuckys, North Carolinas, Dukes, Kansas's of college basketball.

Thnx for that. I thought kkk had posted a really legitimate record.

These records make me laugh. like dwayne wade setting the record for most blocks by a player 6'4" and under. He's 6'4" when he sets the record for guys under say 6'7" maybe but it's still not much of a record is it. I bet they don't hang a banner in Miami for it.
