Trey Burke is still garbage.

Why didn't Matt Barnes sign with Utah then? Him and Utah fans seems to have a common interest of hating Derek Fisher.
 
Fisher was a punk when it came to the Barnes situation. Ran right to the cops.


The fact that Utah fans got upset that an average player wanted out of town is just insane.. If you treat your role players thos way how are you going treat your stars.

Kanter wanted out of town and said so. We didn't like how that went down. Kanter was dumb and followed his stupidity with some insults. But the way we feel about him compared to Fisher is not even close. Fisher used his sick daughter to leverage his way completely out of his contract based on straight up lies he told LHM and the fans. That's low down dirty scummy POS trash right there. It doesn't get any lower than that. Fisher is a horrible human being.

I told yall before the draft that Kanter wasn't very good but I kept hearing how he is going be an allstar. Maybe its time to realize I am usually right

Cut the crap abpout LHM. He was a POS too. Didn't want Dee Brown around Deron because Deron was married and Dee wasn't. Dee has never been in trouble but that what LHM said. He a real POS. Labeled Dee bad because he was black and from the inner city
 
id prefer my kid have medical attention from LA before Salt Lake City. Just saying. Good doctors exist everywhere but its not just abut the doctors dumbass. Maybe the mother didn't like it in Utah and wanted to be close to her family in Cali while her daughter was sick. Do you think before you type. Do you know all that went on behind the scenes when his daughter was sick? Got her medical chart? Are you a doctor? Nah I don't think so so it just makes you look silly.

This has nothing to do with how good or bad a person LHM was. Fisher used his daughter's medical issues to get released from his contract out of sympathy. Not for business reasons, not for team reasons, but to do something charitable for Fisher. He lied about the circumstances and about his intent. He lied, using his daughters illness to gain sympathy and get what he wanted . This is about what Fisher did. And no matter what anyone else did, even Hitler, it doesn't change what Fisher is.

Yet Trey can only build his value if he plays 30 mins/per and is scoring 15-16 pts. Right now, I doubt he has much value around the league as a player coming off the bench and averaging < 12 pts.

This is a lost season. Utah makes the playoffs and gets swept by either SA or GS. We've learned Pleiss and Neto are garbage and Lyles should be playing in the DLeague. So what is left? May as well start Burke and see if we can get something for him. And start bringing in some DLeague guys to kick the tires and possibly find better backups than Johnson, Millsap, Withey, etc.

Way too soon to declare a lost season. Utah could make a significant trade at the deadline for a starting caliber PG and with a healthy Rudy, we could still shock some people come playoff time. Lots of room for improvement for sure, but let's not jump the gun on throwing in the towel.

Good post.. Alec has been efficient. While Rodney uses 11 FGA's per to score 12points, It's tough to be suprised about that -15net rating..

I'll bet you're pretty young. You're not having a conversation with your wife or best friend. You're putting this out there for the world. You have no idea where it's going to go. You have no control of whether this thread is read by Trey Burke or anyone else. Would you say the same things on this forum if you weren't hiding behind anonymity? Would you say them to Trey's face?

That's just for that five man lineup. Jazz have been better overall with Hood on the floor than Burks. Burks' shooting has been pretty bad this year, with an overall awful eFG%. Only his ability to get to the line makes his TS% passable. Team actually scores 3 more points per 100 with Hood on the floor than Burks. Could be a function of Burks playing with Booker a lot, but Hood plays with Neto.

Burks is asked to do a lot for a second unit that is severely lacking talent. I'm putting an asterisk next to all of his statistics.
 
When I see Burks out there with Millsap, Ingles, Trey, and Withey I can only shake my head at the prematurely and prohibitively clogged lanes.
