What's new

Trey Burke. What more do you need?

1st Paul isn't that explosive. I don't know why people put him in that group he doesn't belong.

Next I'll hold off on Burke as a shooter still too early to tell. But I think everybody will agree based on his physical abilities/limitations he has to be able to hit his jumper in order to be effective.

Paul may not be explosive but he is very fast.

Jazz pace of play with Trey Burke on the floor is 97 possesions per game and with him on the bench is 88.5
Interesting stat.

Starters are better than subs.
Veterans are better than rookies.

I think the pace with Dante would be about the same if he were to be paired with the other starters. Likewise, unless Trey were to jack up shots early, pace would slow down if he were to be in the second unit with Gobert, Hood and Booker.

With Paul it's more about his insane handles than anything physical. Yeah he's quick and fast but I wouldn't put him in the top half of starting PG's as far as being an athlete.

Maybe, but Quin mixes and matches lineups so much that Exum plays with starters a lot.

trey is also deceptively fast. he got to the rim when he needed to. trey's problem is his game is too mature. he needs to go out there and just ball. stop trying to be perfect. he needs to loosen up and just ball.
