Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

Before he won the election it was very easy for him to lower prices.
Winning the election made it away harder for some reason

Cultists don't care, they'll still eat the peanuts out of his ****. He is impervious to reality, truth and common sense. However the system itself has to carry some of the blame for allowing someone like him to emerge and appeal to people alienation from the political system. Corporate capitalism is killing people, Trump has no answers but he's willing to say that the system doesn't work for people. He wont fix it, he'll likely make it worse and they'll love him for it.

It doesn't deserve mention. It is a Monmouth Poll. That is like being shocked CNN didn't run with nonstop coverage of Bat Boy escaping after being published in Weekly World News.
You’re entitled to your opinion, but a nation that can return to office a president who attempted to prevent transfer of power to the actual winner of the 2020 election, despite all evidence, from every state, noting how well the election was run, again, in every state, then the supporters of that president can, and likely will, approve many of his decisions. In any Western democracy, a healthy % of citizenry are partial, likely very partial, to authoritarian leaders. Of course many Trump supporters would approve of unconstitutional actions by Trump. I think you fail to understand his hold on the minds and hearts of all those folks who voted for him.

I don’t know why you think people who want Trump only want a Trump who believes in the rule of law. Donald Trump has no respect for the rule of law, and he does not believe it applies to him. A great many of his most fervent followers will agree. I’m sure they agree it’s “the enemy within” that we need worry about. It’s the people who do not support Trump, do not agree with his Big Lie, who are America’s #1 enemy. Remember? That’s Donald Trump himself saying that! Remember? Was he just kidding? Must own that enemy. Perhaps we must violate the constitution to save the country. In Vietnam, we had to “destroy the village to save it”. You need to understand who our greatest enemies are. According to Trump, it’s folks like me. I am an enemy of the United States. And many, not all,of his followers will stop at nothing to own and punish that enemy, their fellow citizens who actually respect the Rule of Law. A man who trashes the rule of law, labels his own citizenry “the enemy within” and this guy is going to respect our constitution. lol, when is he going to start doing that?

You'd have to ask this another way here... Is there anything on this list that you idiots now know was a lie?

There are some things on here that are laughable at first glance.

Did anyone say cloth masks prevent Covid? They help prevent contracting Covid. Because a cloth mask is better than wearing nothing.

I don’t care how many people on the right swear by Ivermectin, I would never put something that’s meant for horses into my body.

You cant be serious about ivermectin. It was developed for human use way back in the 70's and approved in the 80's. It's been administered in humans Billions of times. Billions! Nobel prize winning drug and on the WHO list of essential medicines.

Horses also drink water btw. Horses are also administered ibuprofen, tums, etc.

There's 800+ pages of articles and studies about ivermectin on the library of medicine link below. It has a lot of uses.

I’m not reading all of that. I’m happy for you or sorry that happened.

dude Ivermectin is one of the most lauded medications of the 20th century, widely used to successfully fight parasitic infections mostly in 3rd world countries. It has an incredible safety profile. Is there clear evidence of benefit in Covid ? Not really Is there a horse paste dewormer version of Ivermectin not suitable for human consumption ? Yes of course

The bloody drugs developers were awarded the Nobel prize in physiology / medicine for it's use in humans. I have no idea how people are so hell bent on trashing it as far as human consumption goes.

Wow! Does being America’s #1 enemy entitle you to wear a cape or a funny hat? Are you constructing a secret lair? You can tell me. I won’t tell anyone.

I guess if I thought finding Trump obnoxious was going to be bad enough at times, Musk may outshine him in that respect. #President Musk has been trending on X, and small wonder….Since Trump did support Johnson’s budget, this really is a case of Musk overruling Trump, and Trump going along, lolol…

A majority of Americans oppose Donald Trump’s plans to use the U.S. military to deport millions of undocumented immigrants, to instruct the U.S. Justice Department to investigate his political rivals and to pardon rioters charged with breaking into the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, according to a nationwide Washington Post-University of Maryland poll.

Even larger majorities of Americans oppose Trump’s plans to jail reporters for writing stories he doesn’t like and having police use force against anti-Trump protests.
The survey of 1,251 Americans was conducted weeks after Trump’s victory and sought to examine public sentiment about positions espoused by the president-elect that challenge democratic principles and strain constitutional norms, as well as views on the legitimacy of American elections after Trump’s win. Trump has claimed a broad mandate for his proposals and has selected cabinet secretaries and other executive branch officials who have expressed eagerness to carry them out. But the poll results indicate that Americans reject many of the proposals that experts say could erode the guardrails that help keep presidential power in check.

That's terrifying. Oligarchy in full swing, literally by the book. We are in full decline.

It is a case of Trump going with his gut and Elon Musk paying attention to the details. Elon read the CR bill and noticed that Congress was attempting to sneak in a provision to make themselves above the law. This is the line Congress buried in the CR bill:

“upon a motion made promptly by a House office or provider for a House office, a court of competent jurisdiction shall quash or modify any legal process directed to the provider for a House office if compliance with the legal process would require the disclosure of House data of the House office.”

The supposedly routine CR bill attempted to make it the law of the land that any individual member of Congress would have the power to force any presiding judge anywhere to quash any legal process involving a discovery phase, which is every serious legal process. Elon caught it.

We still have a brain dead president and he's been brain dead for quit some time, but we are just now entering an oligarchy with musk. You are so ****ing stupid.

This is how bills should be written and voted on. The fact that the majority wouldn’t do so shows the massive corruption inside the uniparty that we have. The government isn’t partially corrupt it’s totally corrupt. I can’t believe the amount of whining and crying by these politicians because X is actually holding them accountable and giving Americans a voice. They are melting down because the fraud they are is being exposed. Do you think any of these POS’s would vote for healthcare for Americans, or living wages? It’d sure be nice to see on a simple bill that wasn’t attached to a bunch of other ******** who voted yes and who didn’t.

trump is desperate to get this bill passed while Biden is still president because he knows the bill sucks and will increase spending and then when trump causes the debt to explode, as expected/and predicted, he will try to blame it on Biden.
But he can't get the Republican controlled house to pass it. Can't even get close to a majority even though the Republicans are the majority in the house lol. Democrats fault!
