You’re entitled to your opinion, but a nation that can return to office a president who attempted to prevent transfer of power to the actual winner of the 2020 election, despite all evidence, from every state, noting how well the election was run, again, in every state, then the supporters of that president can, and likely will, approve many of his decisions. In any Western democracy, a healthy % of citizenry are partial, likely very partial, to authoritarian leaders. Of course many Trump supporters would approve of unconstitutional actions by Trump. I think you fail to understand his hold on the minds and hearts of all those folks who voted for him.
Of course it was an inside job. trump was still president (he was on the inside) and caused it to happen. Just like he wanted. That's also why he didn't try to stop it while it was happening.
