Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

I have been noticing more people being more vocal in criticizing trump lately. Seems to be gaining momentum. Hearing more co workers criticizing him lately. Even ones who voted for him. Facebook friends who typically wouldn't post anti trump stuff have started to.
Even heard someone who I know is a trump voter telling someone else how pissed he was when trump said that the US was spending millions on making mice transgenders.
Then he was corrected and told that trump mistakenly thought the word transgenic had something to do with transgender and it actually was just the US spending money on mice in research for human disease prevention and he said "damn it, I need to stop being fooled by trump"
I was impressed.

SpaceX's Starship mega-rocket screamed past the Texas skies only to spin out of control just as it reached space on Thursday.

The vehicle lost contact with ground controllers, fell from space, and exploded, triggering ground stops at airports in southern Florida. It was the second flight in a row where Starship exploded on ascent, which could be a significant setback.

I actually want to root for SpaceX to win. I can't so long as they are led by a Nazi, so I will enjoy this failure.

Trump’s 'contradictions' have gotten 'more brazen' — and that might be on purpose: analysis

"Stanley, known for his extensive writing on the use of propaganda, told the Times, "Once you undermine consistency, the shared sense of reality, you're undermining the basis of democracy. If there's no shared sense of reality, we can't collectively make decisions. So the only decision maker will be the disrupter in chief…. If you’re constantly contradicting yourself, you’re constantly lying.”

Okay, so I hate basically all conservative ideology for only wanting to discriminate against others, but this goes beyond discrimination to just confusingly, impossibly stupid.

How do people not know that... Markets are global.

If Russia and Saudi Arabia stopped producing fossil fuels, the cost of fossil fuels to consumers in the United States would increase MASSIVELY even if the US produced enough fossil fuels to meet domestic demand.

Why? Because the market price for fossil fuels would dramatically increase in Europe, Asia, etc and so fossil fuel producers would sell fossil fuels overseas for an extremely high price.

To make US unaffected by the production of fossil fuels in Russia etc, you would have to ban the exporting of energy.

I can't believe the party of Robert Lucas and Milton Friedman has completely fallen apart in terms of being able to understand the most basic of economics.

I think self-sufficiency is largely a stupid goal, but if you wanted a self-sufficient power source unaffected by the domestic policies of other nations... I mean, this is literally solar and wind once it's installed...

How many economics courses or papers have you taken/read? Is it 0 or less than 0 somehow?

Great great video. Kelly said exactly what I have been saying.
trump literally just threw away 2 negotiation chips before negotiating even began. So dumb.
Also hilarious that fienberg said that trump wants peace through strength. So strength is being unable to even utter the obviously true statement that Russia invaded Ukraine?
That shows cowardice and weakness imo. trump and his cabinet and this fienberg fellow are so strong that they are afraid to even consider uttering a truthful statement that the whole world already knows to be true anyways. I mean it wouldn't even be some big brave statement to make yet they are terrified to even speak it.

Kelly was always my top pick to be the VP with Harris. I still think he would have been the better choice and I think the reason he wasn't the choice is because they were worried his Senate seat would have went to a Republican which in the end didn't really matter anyways since there ended up being a clear Republican Senate majority either way.

I’m glad we have Trump to pilot this plane down. If we’re going to destroy American capitalism, he’s our guy.

God bless Americans.

He did run a presidential campaign on universal healthcare so maybe he just wants to replace capitalism with socialism lol.

Great! Just what this forum needs. Another person with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Now that is money well spent.
More golf please! Golf 7 days a week for as long as you can possibly remain upright and you collapse from exhaustion from all the golfing.
