Ive said the same things about the Republicans. I shouldnt have to remind you of everything I have said in the past just so I can say another.

Yes, Trump does get a pass. He isnt Republican or Democrat. Its why he got elected. Did you even pay attention to the election?

Trump has made every effort he possibly can to stay true to his word. He ia facing a little opposition if you haven't noticed. You sound like every other tool hypnotized by the massive amounts of Liberal propaganda that plagues 95% of news and entertainment. Its embarrassing to watch you guys parrot the garbage and pretend you came up with your own ideas. Or that it couldnt possibly be effecting your opinion. Give me a ****ing break. You are the tool moron. In every sense of the word. You are the tools they use to spread their propaganda. Orange man bad, amarite?

So, that got me thinking, what actually is Trump's record on his campaign promises. I mean, putting aside for the moment that a ton of them are racist, xenophobic, or just plain dumb ideas, what is his record? And, again, I'm not talking about what they were, were they easy or hard, whatever, just yes or no.

He has currently kept or compromised on just over 25% of them. 16% have been broken, and the rest are either stalled or in the works. Obviously, it's still a work in progress, but it's actually better than I expected.

Looking at Obama's record over his 8 years, he kept about 50%, compromised on about 25%, and broke 25%.

As far as working to keep his campaign promises, Trump has been more committed to his campaign promises than any President in my lifetime, by a huge margin.

For me and a lot of other people this is the biggest reason to like him. We have all felt like for a long time now that we are constantly lied to by politicians. Trump was our big **** you we arent taking it anymore. We will take the guy who isnt perfect, but if the known liars oppose him then we are rolling with him.

I wont pretend the guy is perfect. I dont agree with everything he says. But to me he is far better than anything we have had since Kennedy. Everyone has been corrupt liars, who pretend to be for the people but are actually just serving the best interests of the elites.

That's not borne out by the facts, but, whatever. And, again, that disregards what the promises are. A ton of the stuff he has done was easy - and even easier considering that his nominal party controlled the House and Senate.

I don't even understand why people are so apposed to the way Trump acts. He is just like so many of the entertainers people adore. Wouldnt you want to see who the guys is for real? Unlike all the fake politicians who only do it behind closed doors.

Look at all the rappers that people put on pedestals. They say way worse things than Trump has ever said. Yet, they get a pass. Why is that?

Yes, the American people. How can you not see that? Of course he is.

If you want to argue that he has a duty to the world and all of its people, and you believe in open borders etc,... I can see the logic behind that. Although I dont agree.

You're using a different metric than I am.

I'm saying that he is committed to his promises, you're looking on how well he has fulfilled those promises. Those are two different things.

What SPECIFICALLY has he done to help improve the lives of the American people? And I'm using people in the colloquial sense, as a synonym for human beings, rather than a legal sense. And, obviously, I'm talking about the average person, not those with multiple millions of $$.

It can be objectively measured, I'm sure. But going with gut feeling, I'm with you. He's pushing through with most of the farcically bad ideas he campaigned on. Everyone poopoo'd the idea that he's serious about tariffs and withdrawal from free-trade agreements. And yet, here we are.

Meanwhile, while you're busy admiring the guy, evidence is emerging in just the past few days of how much he's really been a tool for Vladimir Putin. Why? Who the hell is this guy, and exactly whose interests is he serving? You are going to be in for the surprise of your lifetime when all is said and done.

Ya, and rappers put out there to express their political opinions too. They are used to try and influence people how they should vote. I dont see you complaining about it. They put these guys on political talk shows to bash Trump. The irony and hypocrisy is ****ing ridiculous.

The president should be held to a higher standard than rappers.
Again, it's crazy I have to explain this to someone. Then again, it's hack so it's not that crazy after all
