Trump's dictator to-do list

Two of you Trumptards liked this post while I was quite obviously being sarcastic.
You were being sarcastic?

The guy obviously has no allegiance to this country.
Oh, I see it now. You look at the "sharp" appointment for Secretary of Defense, and because his allegiance is so obvious, you say the opposite of what you really mean as sarcasm. Solid play! I don't know how I missed it before.

The reality is that war is evolving rapidly. The conflict in Ukraine is making clear all of the things we have are becoming outmoded. In conventional weaponry, nothing is more deadly than small drones and the US doesn't make any. China makes them all. There is an almost religious belief of China dragging us into a war in 2027 that predates the most recent election.

Pete Hegseth is focused on how to get our military to be able to kill the most people. The United States is re-running the 1940 "Plucking Committee" that purged the WWI thinking from the military to evolve into better use of aircraft, aircraft carriers, and newer technologies. We could see war was evolving rapidly and that it was likely coming for us. By December of 1941, we weren't on the back foot thanks to the George C. Marshall's anticipatory efforts to purge and adapt.

I have a son now in Middle School. I hope "they" are wrong. I hope Trump does what he did last time and the world quiets down. I think the best odds of not having a war with China is to have a leader who is just erratic enough that he could do something scary atop a military fully onboard with the Commander in Chief, and with a pile of weapons no one knows how to stop. As has been said for millennia "Si vis pacem, para bellum". I want "pacem", and I think Pete Hegseth is the correct pick to "para bellum". Of all Trump's appointment, Pete Hegseth may be the most important.

As for clarifying your sarcasm or that you were talking about Trump's allegiance rather than Hegseth's allegiance, have some confidence in yourself, man.

"...a leader willing to feed their anger and exploit their fears..."
Which was recognizable in Donald Trump the very day in 2015 when he descended the escalator in Trump Tower, and immediately let us know he was creating “the other” upon which his soon to be rabid followers could focus the anger and fear he chose to stir in their hearts. So recognizable, from day one.

If you don't believe the world, including those who hate him, are jealous then you are fooling yourself.

Previous Presidents walked into banquets to the tune of Hail to the Chief as guests in tuxedoes applaud politely. This one walks into arenas to American Badass by Kid Rock, and the place goes wild.

This President has a signature dance.

Yes, he eats McDonalds. He worked at McDonalds. That people like you see it as so shameful is why he did it. He's talking to the people you look down on, and it obviously resonated. He lost college-educated white men and white women. He gained in every other demographic. The shift in the electorate was crazy. The Democrats have become the party of Karens, Liz Cheney, and Richard Spencer. The Republicans have become the party of everyone else, and especially the working class who eat McDonalds, like UFC fights, and don't often find themselves wearing tuxedoes in polite banquets.

Here is an electoral breakdown by a leftist who hates Trump:

Well, of course he lost the educated. The intelligent people. There was good reason he said he loves the uneducated. People who are educated, have good critical thinking skills, are equipped to use the discriminating aspect of their intellects to good effect, were far less likely to be fooled by his demagoguery. And we should not be at all surprised that a largely uneducated electorate would not be swayed by comparisons to fascistic movements at other times and places, would not pay any attention to such concerns. He’s been the great divider since 2015, and that will dominate the tone of his second term. He will most certainly emphasize hatred of liberals, and continue to label the press and Democrats as the enemy of our country. And his supporters will cheer each and every decision he makes, the more so the crueler those decisions are. He and his followers are pumped to the hilt for revenge against those who rightly understood that, if we were true to our values, and the idea of America, then we needed to hold this rogue president to account, for committing crimes no president had committed before him. But we did not. And now we hear the clowns crowing how great it is that Americans are this uneducated.

I know how much you want to push that narrative, but it doesn't match reality.

"I received a call from Joe Scarborough requesting a meeting for him and Mika, and I agreed that it would be a good thing if such meeting took place," Trump said. "We met at Mar-a-Lago on Friday morning at 8:00."

Trump said the meeting was "extremely cordial."

"Many things were discussed, and I very much appreciated the fact that they wanted to have open communication," he said. "In many ways, it’s too bad that it wasn’t done long ago."

Trump added, "I expect this will take place with others in the media, even those that have been extremely hostile."

The president-elect said he feels he has "an obligation to the American public, and to our country itself, to be open and available to the press."

"And while many others are calling for meetings, I am not looking for retribution, grandstanding or to destroy people who treated me very unfairly, or even badly beyond comprehension," he said. "I am always looking to give a second and even third chance, but never willing to give a fourth chance — that is where I hold the line."

because the health system in America has led to their population being oh so healthy ..... lol

3/4 of Americans and obese or overweight with a cataclysmic amount of chronic disease purely related to poor diet / lifestyle and are on medications for lifetime. The medical and pharmaceutical industries rule the roost and have a stranglehold on power in these corrupt sectors to the detriment of the American people and their profits and power are never ending.

So please, keep defending what the expert class has done with healthcare in the United States.

Oh you think experts and scientists go to Americans homes and feed them their food and take away their treadmills. I see why you are confused now.

A medical professional can give sound medical advice but is unable to force the patient to heed that advice.

Do you think a non medical professional handing out advice will make Americans eat healthy and exercise? Medical professionals tell Americans to eat healthy and exercise all the time but we don't do it. You think that the same advice coming from some random person will be followed instead? Strange take.
