I keep watching the end of the game and it seems to me it was more than Kobe simply dropping the ball. He was going for a jab step into a stepback jumper but Hayward anticipated it correctly. Hayward's length led Kobe to try to shift into a forward-leaning finger roll thing but, the ball came out of his hands. It seems to me Kobe had to make an unanticipated adjustment due to Hayward's good D, in other words.
Whatevers.
Didn't you see Kobe staring at his hands? Kobe is not to blame. His hands should be yelled at and ridiculed for not practicing hard enough, and not wanting it.
