Very nice summary, thank you. It is really interesting that the documentor had not mentioned the infamous Fethullah Gülen at all when he talked about the coup attempt. Or did I miss it?

Also, even though Erdoğan is successful at turning the Modern Turkish Republic's revolutions upside down and gaining more political power by maneuvers, he certainly is nothing of a figure that could be compared to such a historically idealistic figure like Atatürk. You just don't measure metal and cotton on the same scale.

ofcourse the eu and un are ok with it! merkel wants to censor it. europe has no freedom of speech! i almost got convicted for speaking the truth! luckily i said allegdly and supposedly in my hate speech. and proved everything i said was the truth!

Such things wont happen in Europe or US just because they have more control over social media and internet. Not because they are ruled more democratic than Turkey. As much as im not happy with not being able to use wikipedia, i totally understand the governments point. They -i mean the technical boy in American Gods- shouldnt do everything they want in terms of "freedom" and sugarcoat it. It is politics and clash of egos. Even nations have egos. I dont believe there are any humanist politics or democrat nations. Only the situations are different. Men are men everywhere.
