So much for Kanter being good at not fouling. First matchup with legit NBA starter and he is racking up fouls fast.

Yeah, I thought that 3rd foul was a weak call.
It is was I expect. Everyone here was saying Kanter wouldn't have foul problems in the NBA because he is good at not fouling small Euros. Im just saying reality is he is gonig to be fouling a lot because of size and skill of players, and refs.

didn't he play really good against kaman or nowitzki, two nba all-stars? he has faced other legit nba startes and looked quite solid without picking fouls. come one, some were easy calls...
He hardly was matched up 1 v 1 against either of them, plus it was a friendly match. Plus Kaman and NOwitzki weren't getting nearly the usage they would get in the NBA. What Spain did with Gasol would be more of an accurate depiction of what NBA coaches do to rookies. Isolate them and try to exploit their lack of experience against skilled players.

He did not really play much against them, he played most vs Germany's bench in 4th quarter during blowout loss.
Why are you asking that question? I'm saying that he will be like most rookie big men. If you read the comments on the board from most posters, they were talking about how he would have no trouble staying out of foul trouble. Of course, I will be labeled as a Kanter hater because I'm being critical.
