Matt Harpring: D.Cousins(5th pick 10draft) vs Kanter(3rd pick 11draft) Cousins played 81gms(28.5 min/gm) got better- Will Kanter be in that situation?

David Locke: Very interesting share from Gordon Hayward with @djpkkfan steve nash was a childhood idol.

Matt Harpring: we talk about the log jam at the 4 and 5 pos., favors, big al,memo, milsap, kanter. we keep forgetting J Evans as well. Remember depth is good

Brian T. Smith: Told Paul Carter received FIBA clearance. Expected to start camp with #UtahJazz

David Locke: In regards to A Kirilenko to Sac. When player receives "interest"from team with most cap space assume agent trolling other interest

David Locke: Enes Kanter is on with @djpkkfan - one comment being made alot about Kanter -- when lights are on he perform

Jody Genessy: Paul Carter has received FIBA clearance to begin practicing with Jazz

Brian T. Smith: Paul Carter had been watching Jazz practices.

Brian T. Smith: Corbin said he's open to starting Alec Burks if he's best player at position.

Brian T. Smith: Corbin said Tinsley looks like NBA player, performing well during camp. McLeod splitting time at 1/2.

Brian T. Smith: Corbin's seeing separation at 2, 3 spots but no urgency to name starters.

Interesting quote on Burks. And that there is a separation now at the 2 and 3 spots. Could we be seeing Burks and Hayward at the 2 and 3? Or is Miles the one that is performing really well?

Seems like Corbin is using his first training camp to try and force a bunch of guys work really hard and get better. I.E. Corbin is trying to motivate his players in a different way than Sloan liked too.

I don't put a whole lot of stock in how the guys perform in training camp. Ty will select 5 starters for game 1, there will be substitutions, and we'll begin to see the first glimpses of who best performs under the lights. Game one .. I'm ready.

Tyrone Corbin mentioned three surprises thus far - Alec Burks ranginess, Derrick Favors strength and quickness, Al Jefferson physical shape

Alec Burks passing skills have been highlighted at Utah Jazz camp . At least once a session he is wowing people with passes

I'd like to see Hayward and Burks at the 2-3. Hopefully they will pan out and be something great. I am willing to give them (Favors and kanter as well) some time before I jump on or off any bandwagons.

If that is the case and Hayward develops into what we saw at the end of last season I wonder if the Jazz will run some of the offense thru the wings.

The good reports on Burks are VERY encouraging. Playmaking ability from him and Hayward will complement the slash-and-kick play of Harris.

So we are unstoppable?

So I listend to a CJ Miles interview and he said Kanter doesn't talk to anymore much and is always on his phone. KANTER IS THE NEW FAVORS SOCIALLY.

He is hilarious and a social butterfly (a big butterfly). He either just hasn't had the time to mesh with the guys yet ... or demanding a trade!!!1!

I have heard him speak english only once but he seems to be fairly fluent in it. I was impressed.

i just hate when he starts every sentence with:"first of all",,its called 'turk in nba trying too hard to sound like an american sendrom',it started with hedo and memo,,now Enes too

Don't worry. By seasons end he will be replying with, "Ya know, ya just go out there and give yourself a 110%. Let the chips fall where they may."

There's no way Bell is getting separation AHEAD of talented players in practice, so this is an interesting development. Bell's value has always been his competitiveness and defensive ability (whether he has the legs anymore or not), so I really, really don't imagine him looking great here.

On the other side of the coin, I get the impression Miles has always looked amazing in practice. So god help us.
