Weber State's Damian Lillard has been slotted near the top of the lottery by the Jazz. Long scouted by Utah, the highly athletic Wildcat is expected to be taken in the top 10, and could go as high as No. 6 to Portland. But if he’s around at eight (Toronto) or 10 (New Orleans)? That’s when the Jazz could strike.

Sources say Baylor's Perry Jones is in Houston for a second visit with the Rockets that was scheduled today. He's in play for their picks (12, 16 and 18) and Houston is smart to operate as if he may become their player if they took him, but source says Orlando also likes Jones and he could become part of a Dwight Howard proposal eventually. Houston has been trying to get into the top 10, but rival execs are of understanding that the Kings aren't biting on bids for the No. 5 pick.

Based on Donte Greene's Twitter, it appears Kings decided not to make him a qualifying offer.

https://bit.ly/OtoA84 Andre Drummond is worst back to basket scorer (.58 pts per possession) of the bigs
The Hoops Report @TheHoopsReport
Blazers like Waiters, Lillard & Drummond. They're hoping 1 of them will fall to 11, but they don't know who's most likely to.
The Hoops Report @TheHoopsReport
Now, rumors are swirling that Portland could be the team that promised Dion Waiters. If that's the case, was the promise 6 or 11? Craziness.
The Hoops Report @TheHoopsReport
If it's true, it wouldn't be the first time Portland is involved in talks of promising a player. Blazers could definitely use a PG.

Could the Thunder move up and draft Bradley Beal? Beal thinks so
Henry Abbott @TrueHoop
Bradley Beal says Jeff Taylor played toughest D on him and will make a good pro: "Very strong. He has the body for it. He can guard 1-5."
Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress
Warriors could likely snag Tyler Zeller & Moe Harkless at 12 & 16, two guys they like, while the Rockets would likely go for Drummond at 7.
Jonathan Givony @DraftExpress
After this latest Milwaukee/Houston move, I could see Golden State being more enticed to trade the #7 pick to Houston for #12 and #16.

Rockets plan on keeping Livingston, Leuer & Brockman despite fact they could save $4.7 million if they waived Livingston & Leuer

Should it be concerning that Kidd-Gilchrist ranked last of wings in point per shot on jumpers by a ton?
David Locke @Lockedonsports
Should it be concerning at all the Kidd-Gilchrist had 25% of his possessions in transition?
Probasketballdraft @Probballdraft
If the Dwight Howard deal cannot be executed by tomorrow I am told that Houston could shift its focus to Rudy Gay.
