Two Questions

Why is Beidrins playing in front of Gobert? And why was Jefferson getting minutes in front of Burks in the second half tonight? Corbin needs to go, he's terrible. It really is too bad we let Horny walk.

I often wonder what Corbin thinks about himself? Does he truly believe he's an NBA caliber head coach or is he just happy to have a job and hopes he can hang on for as long as possible. Just curious.

Corbin is doing a great job. You'll thank him when we land Jabari.

Chances are we still lose with Burks on the court. The point is that we need our guys to grow and show who they are going to become. With Corbin as the coach we may never know and therefore make bad decisions about the players future.

I'd take his salary to be the laughing stock of the nba and the jazzfanz scape goat. This much is true.

Burks is the least of our worries. Seriously. He isn't that good. Sorry.

Have you seen recent games, his numbers are pretty good. Even if he's not that good his play recently should be rewarded over the dead end of Jefferson (who really is playing terrible)

Who is more important to develop? Burke, Favors, Kanter and Hayward or Burks? There in lies the answer to your question.

They are trying to build trade value in RJ and Marvin.

There's one answer to both of your questions:

That has noting do do with his question. You listed 5 guys that can play 5 positions...so you can play all of them at once. No reason they can not develop together.

Burks is a ball hog. He has to have the ball to be productive. He is the SG version of Al Jefferson. You can't have him on the floor with Trey, Hayward and Favors and run an offense, because either those three will be standing around watching Burks, or Burks will be standing around watching those three (and Burks isn't a good enough shooter to stand in the corner and hit open threes).

That's why I've always said Burks is a great backup sg. He can dominate the ball, you play more one on one with the second unit. He can be a spark plug, then you can take him out when crunch time happens and you can't go one on five as much.

That's what I meant by you can't develop them together. They don't play well together. Burke, Hayward and Favors fit together very well. Parker added to that group would be amazing. Kanter and Burks just play a different type of game.

You have to build around either Kanter or Burks or Burke, Favors, Hayward. Seeing how Lindsey drafted Burke and extended Favors....

This season is the first time Corbin's got something right. Lay off him, man.

They are trying to build trade value in RJ and Marvin.

We say this every year as some type of quasi answer to inexplicable decision making. Year after year, however, nothing happens. Why do we keep assuming something will?
