Two suggested trades by Bleacher Report

When I saw Bleacher Report I thought “these will be garbage” and then I read it and I thought you know these aren’t garbage at all... they are poopy trash bags of garbage.

It can't be done yet but if we are going to move Gobert then let's move Conley at the same time. How's about:

Conley, Gobert, and filler to New Orleans

Favors, Jrue Holiday, and one or two of their youth pieces (Jaxson Hayes, Alexander-Walker, Josh Hart, Miller)

I would be happier with Jrue than Conley and Favors knows the system and is loved here. He would obviously start. Jrue and Favors are both considered lessor players than Conley and Gobert by many so New Orleans gets better which is why we get a youth prospect.

If we could get Brandon Ingram in the deal then I would be happiest but NBA trade machine shows Ingram, Conley, and Favors are all not eligible for trades yet.

I’d love Ingram but I’ll just let that be rn. The favors and holiday for Gobert and Conley is actually a really solid idea in my opinion. If we were forced into trading him of course. Luckily for us though it’s looking less likely.

No way is Jrue lesser than Conley, not even close.

I don't think Lindsey would do either of those deals....neither one has the Jazz giving up multiple picks, or young players in exchange for a one year rental of an overpaid veteran.

Maybe if the Jazz sent a couple of unprotected firsts in the deal with Boston...

Gobert provides more basketball value than Mitchell.
Mitchell provides more of everything else - press, goodwill, financially (he's still on his rookie contract, so he's cheaper), age...

The Bleacher Report idea to trade Gobert for Hayward, it sounds like the writer is intentionally trolling Jazz Fanz. Maybe Bleacher Report will suggest we bring Derek Fisher out of retirement to man the point. Or a trade for Kanter and Lyles.
