Ty the turd already on thin ice with me

Every coach has their style, because we all know Sloan never lost it on the sidelines. I really think you should stop worrying and just relax. Personally, I like what Corbin is doing. He seems to be much more flexible and open to making adjustments. Something that I really had a problem with Sloan and "stuck in his ways" approach. Time will tell if Ty Corbin is the guy. He has a tough job to do considering who he has to follow and all the crap he has been handed. I am excited to see the team and see how Ty handles the team. I know I won't agree with everything he does but neither did I agree with everything Sloan did.

Well said. Definitely best post in the thread. I am just excited about Jazz basketball this year. Let's get it started already!

It always ruins it when it has to be explained.

Yeah, it is kind of like the matrix. You cannot be told what IT is. You have to see IT for yourself. All esoteric and ****.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

haha ha ha ha

Great post. Liked the bolded part best.

Yes. I watched basically every game last season, and watched his demeanor on the sidelines during critical phases of the game. It's as clear as day to me. All good coaches have poker faces throughout the game - with the exception of an occasional outburst at the ref - while Ty would show looks of sheer joy or bitter anguish depending on the situation as well as jumping on and off the bench, flailing his arms, etc. He lost sight several times and screwed up the rotation at pivotal points during games because he forgot he was supposed to make subs (being too wrapped up in the game).

Anyone else who watched extensively last year could tell you the same thing. Unfortunately I can't provide video evidence, but you'll be able to see what I'm talking about live in a few short weeks!!
It's pretty funny that an out of control overemotional fanatic like yourself has such a problem with a coach who knows the difference between poker and basketball.

So your judgement on his entire career as a coach, and his abilities to succeed in his first full year as a head coach in the NBA, are based on how he picked up the pieces of a shattered organization whose top player left in the middle of the season, not to mention their hall-of-fame 20+ year coach, and who now had to figure out a way to integrate several new players, as well as rookies who now were carrying heavier minutes, all while being short a coach on staff and being in the middle of a media firestorm.

And then on top of that, suddenly you are the Grand Poobah of all NBA coaching, so you have perfect knowledge of which players will work best on the floor at any given point in time?

Really?

Delusion, thy name is chitownjazz.

Nice one.

I think Corbin will try several different linueps, partly due to having a bunch of young and new players and partly due to the compressed schedule. It's going to take a while to define roles, and those roles may even change over the course of the season. Personally, I'd like to see Hayward and CJ start, along with with Favors, Jefferson and Harris. Burks would come off the bench. Alec is good for instant offense, creating shots, etc. Jazz would have three legit "6th" men with Watson, the distributor, throwing it in to Burks, Millsap, Memo and Kanter. The offensive potential of that 2nd unit could be more explosive than that of the starters.

This thread has run it's course - The circle jerk between (various insults took out) and the rest was one for the ages though. Nice work guys!

I'll be eager to bump this thread repeatedly as the season progresses.

Go Jazz!

Nice to see Corbin is keeping Sloans legacy alive by not having head bands and leaving people open for 3 on defense!

Ty the Turd is pathetic. No reason to put the original starting lineup together on the floor at the same time for any reason, whatsoever. In the park, preseason, regular season or playoffs. Corbin is a joke. A pathetic joke. This lineup can't even defend. What's he thinking? Can't wait until we can his ***.

To bad they gave him that contract before he did ANYTHING. I mean come on he was 3rd on the bench. The offense looks exactly the same as it's always been. We needed change with all these young guys and we are not getting it.

Any of the Corbin cowards want to defend him after watching the last 3 minutes of tonight's game play out? Anyone who has played competitive organized basketball through the eighth grade could plainly see how pathetic of a coach he is. What a disaster.

It's a real shame because our roster oozes with potential. With a real coach we'd easily win 35 games this season and that's a fact, Jack!
