what i like about Bane is his potential to be a three level shooter(catch and shoot, shoot off the bounce, shoot off the dribble), which brings the much needed variety to this current Jazz 3pt oriented offense
We have way too many spot shooters that are only effective when they are shooting from a static positions, which makes it easy for the opponents to set up counter schemes.
yeah, we can try multiple drive and kicks until we find the open man but it's not like Royce/Bojan/Niang are that good of dribble&drive threat to begin with. More often than not their driving to the basket have led to ugly turnovers because i'm sure it is on every opponent's scouting report to let them put the ball on the floor.
Imagine how much more unstoppable we can be if we add a dynamic shooter who is much more comfortable at dribble&drive and can launch shots from anywhere at anytime to our offense.
