Hornacek is doing some redirection-screening stuff that makes him look like an elite offensive planner. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes the next elite coach tbqfh. Truly genius stuff.

Jazz stop that and they could win this game. Favors needs to get back after the second helper comes over. They don't need 3 trapping those guys. That leaves the three open, but it was open last night anyway and I think the spacing will allow them to contest it anyway.

And the chances of that are? Drumroll please: ZERO! Hell, Corbin got them to do absolutely nothing to stop the two things last night the Suns love to do the most, run and shoot 3s. And don't tell me about the Sun's bad 3 point percentage last night, they missed 7 in the 4th after the game was out of reach.

They're not.

During the clippers Kings game the Kings announcers were talking about the phenomenal job Horny was doing and that he was a good candidate for coach of the year. The Kings announcers said this.
 
I'm intrigued to see what Corbin's shrewd adjustments are going to be.

I'm also curious to see if Favors and Kanter are really not going to be on the floor together due to the emergence of Marvin Williams the stretch-4.

At some point, I'd like to see someone on the team say, '*** this, I'm taking over!' Burks showed a bit of that. Trey's got it in him too. Can't understand why Favors and Kanter don't try to take down the rim on every possession.
 
Right now, the team is in disarray, and the players aren't playing that well together. But the tank seems to require this.

I also honestly think Richard Jefferson and Marvin Williams are being shopped for a mid-season trade.
 
After seeing the lackluster effort in person last night when they had a fairly energetic crowd behind them, much more noisy and interested than the team actually warranted, I'm gonna go ahead and say it will take a meltdown of epic proportion on the part of any team Utah beats on the road this season. And that won't happen tonight.
 
Anyone notice that the Knicks are almost as bad as we are, and yet they're trying to win?

Sad thing is that they don't even have their pick this year.

EDIT: Just checked-- looks like Denver got the 2014 for Melo, and they'll be trading away their worse 1st rounder to Orlando. Damn.

Same with the Nets. They gave up Favors, Kanter, Lillard and so on just to spend an all time high on this pile of **** team.

I've been practicing some of the math I learned in the tank thread....

The jazz lost the first game by three
The second game by 11.... A 3.6 times increase.

Therefore we can project that the jazz will lose 40 (11x3.6)
