What's new

UPDATED: 2021 All-Time NBA Draft

Wilt used to dominate pickup games against Magic and Worthy in the 80’s. He was in his late 40’s early 50’s. I have no doubt he would have been able to dominate in any era but some of the stuff he has said in the past is greatly exaggerated for sure.
It's pretty amazing that the other team knew Wilt was coming, there was no defensive 3 seconds rule, and he still scored the way he did.

I mean, how many points would Duncan, Shaq or others score if you could just double team his post up? Or how many points would Wilt have scored if he was only guarded by one guy in the post?

Wilts attitude has made him probably the most underrated great of all time. The fact that he's not in the GOAT conversation is insane. 100 points in a NBA game probably will never be matched. Not to mention there was still minutes left in the game because the crowd rushed the court and the game was stopped. He would have scored even more.

And yet Wilt has what, two titles?

And spare me the supporting cast. He had Elgin. He had West…
Do you realize that Boston was stacked beyond belief right?

We have all seen what LeBron has done in the current era winning and losing against 2 dynasties (SA and GS). Now just imagine that LeBron had to go up against a dynasty that was even stronger, and it existed for his entire career due to the lack of league balance.

Jerry West was one of the greatest 25 players of all time, and he only got 1 title if I'm not mistaken. Boston was ridiculously stacked. Russell wasn't nearly as good as Wilt, and he won 11 titles in 13 years.

Wilt chose his own interests over winning. Read up on him.

Yeah... But I personally feel like looking at rings isn't the most important thing when looking at a player considering it is a team sport after all... One player can't win a championship by himself he has to have help from his team and needs the opposing team to be worse than his team

We’re talking about a guy who has 2 rings lol. For me as long as you have 1 that is all that matters in the ring discussion.

If @toddychurch misses his pick at 8:59am tomorrow I will be right there to steal. Doesn’t this guy barely have over 100 posts?
Sorry man. I don’t post much but I’m on here all the time. I was thinking of drafting someone else but my kids pressed me to pick this one.

The 2005-2006 NBA season was Kobe Bryant’s peak year for individual achievements. Bryant had the mind-boggling stats of 35.4 points per game on efficient shooting percentages from the field. This was the season with his infamous 81-point game as the second-highest scoring performance ever.

I have sports hate towards the Lakers and Kobe, but outside of watching the Jazz, this is one season I remember specifically tuning in to watch what he’d do. R. I. P.
