For the record:

Gasol was always who I was targeting and I was just hoping to get him in a spot that was not a crazy reach relative to how he's normally valued. I took Dwight on a value pick because he was there and because I had Steve Nash (which in theory is a devastating two-man game). I would've been fine keeping both Howard and Gasol, but the fit wouldn't be perfect so I'm taking another bite at the apple and I wanted to make an effort to give @Domino an opportunity to get the guy that I earholed him out of.

I am very high on these transactions.

Not enough shooting and he has done the best with a stretch big instead of a traditional defensive big. Pippen isn’t a shooter and who knows how Russell would fare in today’s league.

Not enough shooting? Lol. Drazen is insane. Pippen shot 37.5% on 5.2 attempts one year. Stockton was always insanely highly efficient as a shooter. To be able to go four out with Russell in the middle AND have the best defense in this (IMO of course) AND have two elite slashers in Lebron and Pippen and oh yeah, have insane passing (are there two better passing forwards than Lebron and Pippen)? Cmon. Go ahead, get better shooting. You can do that. But you’ll likely sacrifice another part of your team. I’ve not done that.
