In the schadenfreude category, looks like the people who've been saying for years that LeBron would not find things as easy out West were right.
Stick a fork in Lebron. They're done. As much as I hate LA, I'm loving it.Thunder lost. Lakers lost teehee.
We won.
2.5 games back of the 3rd seeded Blazers.

We agree! ****ing contact CNN
Also I hold little weight in the “look at his supporting cast” arguments. Most of the people making that argument now made that argument in his favor back east...

So we have the easiest schedule remaining in the league.
OKC has the hardest.
The bad thing is Portland has the 9th easiest remaining schedule and we are still 2.5 games behind them. And I could be wrong but I feel like they have the tiebreaker over us.
We could really use a Hornets win over them today.

Agreed. Chance of getting him is very smallhttps://stats.nba.com/impact/advanc...=203507&TeamID=1610612749&VsTeamID=1610612749
Brogdan almost gets better when Giannis is off the court too, that is not something I expected when looking into his impact stats, and a lot of his bench teammates TS%s increase with Giannis off/Brogdan on so he's making the bench unit better. You can also play him in a 3 guard lineup with Mitchell/Exum too which is something you can't do with Rubio/Mitchell/Exum, and the obvious fit with him and Mitchell in the starting unit would be fantastic, and he's a guard who can get the ball to Gobert in a PnR too.
He's not going to be available unfortunately but the more I look into Brogdan the more I wish he was a UFA instead of a RFA. Bucks are going to lock him up for the rest of his prime and I think he's an ideal 3rd option guy who the Bucks could have the luxury of playing as the 4th guy with Bledsoe/Middleton/Giannis all there.
Sounds about right. 538 seems to know it's ****.... At least seems to agree with my thoughts all the time538 now has us projected at 51-31, tied with Houston for the 3rd best record in the west.
It's a combination of the West being way harder than the East and his teammates sucking and sulking from the trade deadline
I would argue that his current cast is better than what he had last year in Cleveland.
This is just chickens coming home to the roost. Every team LeBron has had in the past 12 years has been permanently on the brink of some kind of turmoil. He never has enough help, so there's a constant swirl of trade rumours where no teammate is ever safe. If by some chance, the teammates are safe for the time being, then the coach is not safe. There is never any kind of stability. That might have been fine when LeBron was still young and playing out East and miraculously avoiding serious injury. He's turning 35 later this year and inevitably declining, he's playing in a much tougher conference, and he's got a young team whom you have to handle like a young team. As an teacher, the idea that you can motivate most people by publicly calling them out is so ludicrous to me.
The Lakers are currently on pace to win 39 games. They won 35 last year so I guess LeBron is now at a point in his career where he's worth 5 extra wins to a team. It will likely take at least 45 wins to make the playoffs as the bottom seed and have the honour of the Warriors getting to sharpen their knives on you. They would have to go 15-4 the rest of the season just to hit 45 wins. Check out their schedule coming up.

Can anyone see 15 wins there? vs DEN, BOS, GS, our boys and POR. @ OKC, MIL, TOR, and us again. That's 9 games against legit teams, but since we're talking about a team that lost to a 12-win Phoenix tonight, can you take anything for granted. Two games against the Clips who are fighting so hard to make the playoffs and are 4.5 games ahead of the Lakers. One game against the Kings. A game in NOLA against a team they tried to **** over hard. We've seen in the past two weeks how hard the players not named Davis on that team play against the Lakers now.
Their goose is cooked.
Ya I still don't think we catch the blazers. They are playing greatSo we have the easiest schedule remaining in the league.

Wow. I thought 4th or 5th would have a higher% than 3rd. That's cool
