Problem is we don't know if warriors will be #1 and don't know where Portland and OKC and Houston will finish. (I Do feel pretty comfortable saying Houston will be 3rd though for some reason)

The team just needs to win as much as possible. If it comes down to the last game or 2 of the year and it seems we can maneuver by losing to be in a better position than do it then. Right now the only goal should be to win.

I can't see how Portland doesn't fall to 4 or 5, and we currently have the inside track for the matchup against them. Gotta keep winning, though.

With LeBron out this clearly becomes a trap game. We need a strong start and put them away quick. As Frank Layden used to say "never give a sucker an even break". Let the young guys hang around and there's no telling what happens.
 
I hope if it comes down to winning for the rest if the season or playing a better matchup. We lose games to play for a better match up but I could see them winning just to win unfortunately

Plus there is a mental benefit of having momentum I think. If you got the playoffs on a 9 game win streak and the players are playing their best I think there is some value in that even if we don't get the ideal matchup.
