Joe Johnson 20,000 update

With 12 points against Detroit, Joe now requires 131 points from a possible 13 games to cross the line this season.

nope we love the froggies.

and the kiwis aren't our enemies, more like our subordinate little brothers

And kiwi girls are a whole lot of fun, those girls love to party, St Kilda used to be lousy with them. Seem to be harder to come across in my old age...

I think our strengths just kind of negate their strengths and they are left without much. Plus I think their team just sucks, and I mostly blame that on Reggie Jackson, who seems like a miserable teammate to have.

To think, we could have had Jackson for Kanter.

But then Gobert wouldn't have to go to D League, work hard to prove himself for the starting spot and become the Player he is right now.

Everything happens for a reason. Maybe not opting to Jackson is how Exum was grabbed by the seekage of a true pg and hopefully will become a valuable starter.

I post, therefore I am.

Wow, rewatching the game now, but Withey has been TERRIBLE in the first half. Lost a few catches, screens not really slowing down the defenders. Still rooting for him to do well, but this was not a good game for him.

Burks has been meh, but had a nice and one off a pass from Exum.

Exum is looking good, feels good to see him so much more confidence. The pass to Burks was nice. Use his speed to drive baseline to open up the court and find the pass

Exact opposite of ballhog.

Everything is within the system. There are times I wish he'd hog more... I can't believe how impressive he's been this year. Both sides of the ball.

I like that people think Paul George and jimmy butler are in a different tier than Hayward. I'd take Gordo over both without thinking.

Withey was so bad last night. Everything he touched turned to poop.

Watching Exum play feels so weird. It just feels like he's playing at a different pace than everyone else. I just see some of the things he does, and I immediately think "That doesn't look right", or "Other guys wouldn't do it like that".

At this point, I don't know if its a good thing. Defenders often feel like they don't know whats coming because its weird, which is good (best example of this is Paul Pierce stepbacks, with wacky footwork). On the other hand, there must be a reason why people do it like normal, because it's efficient. Another downside is that sometimes teammates don't expect it, like a pass around 3mins left in third quarter in this game when Gobert didn't expect the pass, and quite frankly, I didn't either.

Just don't know if this unpredictability is Exum's special trait or just a sign of his basketball immaturity.
