What's new

Utah Jazz (43-26) @ Chicago Bulls (32-37) - 6 PM MT

This is typical for the season. Lose a game to a playoff team, then follow it up with another loss to a bad team. This team just seems to follow up losses with more losses. Won't be surprised if we close this road trip with another loss.

This seems about right. Our bounce back games seem to follow a loss to a great team then a garbage team.

Yet they rested a huge game against each other?

In the Warriors case, they were coming off a 9 game stretch with 8 road games, playing on a b2b. That's the only game in the last two seasons that they've rested any key starters.

They aren't going to rest players against us in the 2nd to last game of the season if a win clinches the #1 seed.

Is it as simple as we did not make shots... I mean even free throws...

Also Jeff Withey has completely lost all effectiveness. He doesn't affect anything at the rim and murders our offense.

X is my man... But I hope he learns from those two missed free throws tonight (Felt like the biggest moments of the night - got the crowd super juiced). He clearly tightened up. And that's ok... I'm glad Q trusted him for some pivotal 4Q minutes. Hopefully he can draw on that experience in the future.

But I'm loving the rest of his development.

Burks' destiny is one of those 'average 20 points on some really ****ty tanking team' players. He doesn't belong on a winning team, he doesn't fit in with any kind of offensive scheme.

IDK, he really has to change the way he attacks. I think he can still be a decent bench player on a good team.

He doesn't seem like he's synced in with the other guys. I think he's trying... he's just behind. I'm concerned too.

Blocking the ball all the way out to the perimeter is never a good idea.
I think he was talking about the "this team is too stupid to be taken seriously" part.

Edit: just saw that cy wasn't talking about that part of your post. Should have been though.

lol we are fine. can't win all the games on the road. no hood and favors hurt us

This.
We are a pretty good team. Not a perfect team who will never lose to a bad team on the road while down a couple guys.

Sadly, looks like a repeat of the CJ Miles scenario. Keep hoping he figures it out the next year.

I was kind of talking about the whole post, but I just focused on that extra dumb part.
