Utah Jazz expressing interest in Andrew Bogut

It's clear you don't like Andrew Bogut and his sociopolitical opinions. When he engages in certain actions/behaviors, you view it as bigoted. I suppose the irony is lost on you when you resort to the same actions/behaviors but don't consider yourself engaging in bigotry by your own precedented standard.

To be bigoted against bigotry. A real paradox. Are you by chance also a murderous navy seal? I'd hate to have two of you coming after me.

Can you explain your Bogut hate?

not going to google

Bogut hate is ok, that's understandable. Calling him a Bigot is just unreal. His parents were migrants here and he was bullied at school for being a "wog" lol MornonOnaplate is just pissed because he's probably a raving SJW and is offended because Bogut likes winding them up on twitter therefore must be a bigot/white supremicist/islamophobe etc.

huh

that was the opposite of helpful. thanks for trying

The alt right is racist far more than it is anti-immigrant. That Bogut doesn't seem to know this is either a ruse or revealing to his abject ignorance. In either case, he'd be wise to shut the **** up.

You may have a point had you produced genuine evidence of bigotry. Else bigot is nothing more than a synonym for ******* with little distinction. But that's not how the term is applied in society -- used as an inherent disqualifier and irredeemable character flaw.

Your words, obviously, aren't bigotry, and it'd be awfully silly to characterize it as such. Which is why I find it curious that you'd care to apply it as such.

To each their own, I guess, but how great to have another way to say ******* but carrying with it more social stigma.

What did Bogut say?

'How could I be a member of the alt-right? I'm an immigrant and my parents were immigrants.'

Yeah, and he's white and speaks English, too. The next time I see one of those MAGA/blue lives matter/dog-whistlers complain about someone like Bogut would be the first time. Immigration is and never was the issue for those people, its xenophobia and racism, point blank.

That his stance on pizzagate is 'if there's any truth to this...' rather than 'this manipulation of conspiracy theorists to incite violence against people that have done literally nothing they're being accused of is dangerous, despicable, and disgusting.' speaks volumes.

What a ****head.

What did Bogut say?

LOAP linked an article where someone pulls up a bunch of twitter posts where he says he argues with/trolls SJWs. Then they reference an interview where he hates the bling culture of the NBA and the cockiness, how he hates Kobe and likes Duncan, then they talk about how he's done all those cocky things himself. If LOAP feels I'm not doing the article and the links justice, perhaps he could point out more specifics but so far it's been crickets with the implicit understanding that the bigotry is out there in the open and if it's not recognized then that's simply a poor reflection on on the one able to appreciate its subtleties.

It's akin to this:

Guy: Obama's gonna take our guns!!!!
Person: Where'd he say that?
Guy: Read this link _____.
Person: All he says is gun violence is a problem.
Guy: He's going to take our guns!!!!

What did Bogut say?

Not so much what he said, I think its the burning cross he has on his lawn in Dandenong...

I particularly disliked it when he built a basketball court in a park for the local kids cause the council wouldn't pay for it. Complete prick.

Save it for the next Antifa picnic day.

1. This means that the Jazz probably could have had him if they hadn't signed Udoh.
2. Glad it wasn't Boston.
3. The newspaper article likely had no actual sources. They just counted the amount of Australian players on each team and went with that.

Udoh is really a question mark right now -- but he has more upside as he is younger and Bogut is on the downside of his career and coming off a recent serious injury, in addition to all the other injuries he has had.
