I had no idea, going in, that reasonably decent game threads would have such an impact on team success.
I want to point out, I have never said "good" or "great" or "awesome" in regard to my game threads. I have a basic format that I have followed, there's some layout choices, font and color choices, but they are pretty basic.
Please save me from having to make game threads for the rest of the season (The Jazz cannot lose as long as I'm making the game threads). Collaborate with me on the next game or the game after. Provide me with some good photoshops, some good content, whatever you feel would be good in the next game thread. Heck, give me your submission for game thread girl (for "research"). I will give you full credit for your collab.
For reasons I must continue to post the game threads as long as this win streak continues (the rest of the season) but want even better game threads than I can make. Please help!

I appreciate it though, game threads are great and was brought back from the brink of extinction.

I'd prefer the Wolves for several reasons:
Refereeing: playoff games are much more physical and intense. You don't want to face a team that gets all the calls.
Wolves defense vs Spurs defense: related to my first point, the Wolves are all offense and no defense. Only Gibson and Butler play defense. The Spurs are the #1 defense.
Depth: Wolves will be gassed, they have no bench and play their starters 40 minutes/game. Spurs have a deep roster and Leonard will be back.
Stories and rivalry: Thibs & Teague vs Rubio, Towns & Wiggins vs Gobert, Mitchell vs Wiggins.
Let's face Thibs whose drawn clutch plays are awful and not Popovich.

Dante has never been in a position where he could have taken 20 shots if he wanted to. He would have been benched 3 or 4 shots in. As for the double standard, it should be pretty obvious that Utah was in a much different situation this year than last year. If Mitchell had been drafted a year sooner, he would have been riding the pine just like Dante. There is no double standard, just a big difference in how the team was operating. Once Dante comes back, he'll have a lot more freedom to play through mistakes.
Dante was benched because he didnt take shots, not because he took them.
With great power comes great responsibility.
