What's new

Utah Jazz @ Milwaukee Bucks 6pm Mountain Time *Official Game Thread*

Kanter had zero turnovers in 35 minutes. I can't remember the last time I saw him with zero turnovers, even when he was playing 10 minutes.

With so many offensively gifted players I don't understand how the Jazz score so few ppg?

Cuz Kanter and Burks are two of our best offensive players, but neither start.

Burks doesn't play 36, but he knows when his minutes are coming.

Kanter doesn't know when his minutes will come, which makes him rush sometimes, or not have enough time to groove, or he starts hot and then sits till he's icey.

Either Kanters passing has improved, or he has just more confidence. He had zero turnovers, because of his passing today. The las few days he is always passing the ball, well.

Another one... "Enes Kanter is more than twice of the Player Marvin Williams is"

But Marvin is starting because he is hitting 1.5 threes per game...

He's only averaging 2.5 per 36 and 1.8 on the season.

People definitely act like he turns it over a lot. Been perplexed by this.

Other pf turnovers:

Kevin Love- 2.4
Boozer - 2.2
Aldridge - 1.8
Blake Griffin - 2.7
Millsap - 2.7

I think it's just because kanter makes more ugly turnovers than other players so they stick out to people more. I agree though, it's certainly not something that we need to be too concerned with.

Well the core 5 all can score than there's Williams and Jefferson who are capable of getting hot. That's 7 guys on any given night that can score.

Lol. Hayward, Favors, and Burk are about as inconsistent as they come when it comes to scoring. For the most part Kanter is better as a starter And only shows up half the time, and is limited on his minutes most the time. Burks is a capable scorer, but a one dimensional scorer, as he isn't much of a threat from outsid and inconsistent from 15 feet, most of his scoring comes from his slashing, whether he gets lucky and makes a prayer layup shot (not many went in today) or gets fouled and gets to the line. Williams and RJ can get hot like any other role player in the nba. This is why we are bad on offense. The only shocking thing here is how you actually think we should be a good offensive team, due to the players we have on this team, maybe in a couple years when they have more experience but come on LOL.

Definitely not hating. I expect turnovers from such a young guy, and those other guys are star type players who have been getting big minutes for most of their careers. Putting up a career high in this turd of a game, on a high volume of touches without turning it over even once is a great sign to me.

Also I think a lot of the perception that his turnover rate is high is because when he does turn it over, it ends up on Shaqtin a Fool half the time.

Can't really compare those guys to Kanter. I know at least Boozer, Love, Griffin, and Millsap are all pretty good passers who attempt a much higher difficulty of passes and actually make plays for others.

Kanter has gotten better at not turning it over though, but it's more of the Big Al type of not doing anything out of his ability.

assists per36

love - 4.1
griffin - 3.5
millsap - 3.3
aldridge - 2.7
boozer - 1.9
kanter - 1.2

boozer is the only pf on that list that averages more to's than assists (besides kanter, who's even worse, for every 1 assist, kanter turns it over twice...)

thats the real concern
