Utah Jazz Players in the FIBA World Cup(in China)

Kemba is so ****ing shifty. Unfortunately, I think he’ll make the Celtics better (as long as he melds with the youth movement in Boston). Kyrie’s distractions and dribbling won’t be missed.

The takeaways I got from this game is that Don really, really worked on his midgame (possibly to the detriment of his three ball) this season. His second shot was that damned floater, he missed it, then went to the stop and pop, which was devastating. His three (and Jingle's three for that matter) were pretty scary bad, especially when everyone else on the team was cashing in. The really BIG thing on display was Spida's defense. He looked like the guy from his first summer league.

Having a midrange when you need it is good, but yeah his 3 ball wasn’t going down. When he missed that wide open one with a rhythm dribble it wasn’t great lol. Ingles scared me a bit tbh, he had a pretty terrible game I thought.

I mean, this was "primary option" Joe (at least he was defended that way) and we already kinda know that is a problem. To me, the only really clean look from deep he was given was the one that he hit. Pop took Ingles away from the Boomers as a strategy. It does make me wonder if Joe could actually play the primary guy on the bench unit. Team USA, although not the A team, is still much better than most NBA benches defensively though.

I'll have to see a lot more of Spida's long range before I start worrying too hard. He really needed to clean up that midrange. It was his biggest weakness last year.

Right after the Jazz three-peat, you’ll be in a bomb-shelter, biting your nails and crying about Donovan maybe leaving at some point.
Just trying not to be blissfully blind. Being buddy buddy with the Knicks assistant GM on social media isn’t exactly something to just ignore, especially given the other hints at hand.

I’m not blissfully blind. I don’t think anyone here is, honestly. Perhaps more importantly, if he wants to leave as a UFA in five or six years, so be it. It’s his ****ing life. All I ask is he live in the moment while he’s here and I’m going to suggest you do the same.
