What's new

Utah Jazz @ Sacramento Kings - Nov 24 - 8:00 PM MST - Root Sports/NBA TV

It seems like an eternity since this team has looked good. Even the wins have looked rather lucky! Both Favors and Hayward sucked basket balls tonight!

The Kings aren't a bad team.....or, at least they have some good players. Notice how we don't have a whole lot of game at PG tonight. Tyreke Evans is playing well. Their bigs defend and rebound okay.

Our guards aren't giving us much consistently here.

Millsap is getting his minutes, but he's really been outplayed by Jason Thompson and hasn't stopped Thomas Robinson either.

Hoping these road woes inspire a trade. I hate being so frustrated about a problem but so powerless to do anythig about it

Another depressing loss for the Jazz! It's really tough to see who this team is. Just when you think Favors and Hayward are going to move to that next level, they combine for a 1/14 game with 5 TO's & 6 fouls against the Kings.

By the way, the Kings' announcers are the very worst I have ever heard! Normally, I understand the home team crap, but these guys have to be related to the owner.

Cousins is a complete retard. Seriously, does this guy have any diagnosed issue? Asperger's?

Foye killed us choking on those 3 FTs. Then again, it was justice. Evans had all ball on that one.

Hayward was worthless tonight.

Once again we dump a game that will come back to haunt us come June. When we're getting our asses handed to us by the Spurs instead of hosting a playoff team that we can actually beat, just look back to these types of games.

sigh

One the road we're soft (both offensively and defensively), lack a go to player/strategy, and just don't show much energy.

Which, is mostly on the coaching. At home, we don't necessarily need an identity. We just play good defense, run the fast break, and live off the energy of the crowd. On the road, we show up without any energy and have no clue what to do offensively (because we don't need an identity to win at home). We need an identity! Are we a fast break team? Are we a half court team? In the half court, what are we trying to accomplish? Post ups? Mid-range jumpers? P&Rs?

I'm partially convinced the reason we lost was because Cousins was ejected. Cousins would have committed at least two unnecessary fouls to send us to the line, would have committed at least 1 TO, forced at least 3 shots, and would have probably allowed at least 3 baskets with poor defense.

This is why fans can't get excited over this team.

We utterly can and will lose to literally anybody and everybody on the road.

We'd be a contender if 82 games were played at home. Unfortunately, the best you can ever be is 41-41 if you can't do anything on the road.

Jazz get killed in the paint - Favors 15 minutes due to foul trouble. I think we know where we struggled and that was on defense. Offensively when Jefferson gets 14 on what 15 or 16 shots and he is Olathe first option that's an issue. Millsap just isn't right either. We could have blown it open in the first half but Millsap was throwing up garbage over and over again. Also I know Gordon has the green light off the bench but he needs to understand when his shot isn't falling that he needs to become a distributer.

Frustrating loss none the less but I expected a split .

We are 2-7... We have done something... Just saying

I want to see us take on the identity of the 80's Pistons. :D
