Utah Jazz should look to add Dion Waiters

He'd be a good player if he wasn't such an idiot. Never seen someone force the issue like he does by taking as many bad shots as he does because there's real talent there, but his head is empty.

Well that doesn't make any sense. Let me repeat your quote, "Except for the fact that he's not a good NBA basketball player yet plays like he's Klay Thompson. I would say that he isn't a bad basketball player, and if he played like he was Klay Thompson, as you stated, than yes, he would be as valuable as Klay Thompson. However, Klay Thompson is a player that very few play like, including Klay Thompson. Yes I'm saying that Klay Thompson can or cannot play like himself. It was very odd for you to respond to that because he had nothing to do with why the Jazz would sign Waiters. If he played like Klay Thompson, he never would have made it this far into free agency, would he? Someone is reading this and about to post a Lebron James not signing with the Cavs yet, remark. Dont do it, because no point would be made from that either. Your response while reading made me envision that you were typing that response while on a farm with a cheek full of copenhagen causing your words to go awry. Klay Thompson has nothing to do with my post. If he played like Klay Thompson, that would change everything wouldn't it????????????????? What a stupid thing to say.
Wow, you have poor reading comprehension.

If we're looking to add a small 2 (which I do not believe we are), would not Jason Terry make more sense? He already signed with us once.

I think the jazz wait for something better.
They already got someone better: JJ.

As to the OP, let's take Jingles out of the equation. He's now a deep sub for garbage time.

There are 96 wing minutes for 4 players: Hayward, Hood, Joe Johnson and Burks. If all heathy, give Hayward 30, Hood 25. That leaves 41 for Burks and JJ (so call it 20 each). There's simply no room for another wing. If one is injured, the other 3 up their minutes to 32 each, or you give Jingles a little time or use Exum and Hill in a two-PG set.

24 years old who is coming off of a bad season in OKC while posting career low 10 PPG, but also a career high from 3 point range shooting 36%. He was in a tough position in OKC and they have recently rescinded his extension offer making him a UFA. Jazz could use him to add depth to our lineup behind Burks and also give him a competitive match up. His addition would make Burks rise to the occasion and earn his starting spot every night. As long as we got him for the right $$$. After teams went buck wild for free agency, and then Adam Silver declared that the future cap for next year was going to be $4 million less than originally projected, teams are not going to make the same insane offers on UFA's remaining this year. Although there will still be some head-scratcher signings, I think that most teams will not want to limit themselves for anticipation of the 2018 free agency which could be even bigger. Dion Waiters will add experience, depth and a new beginning to his basketball career that is in desperate need of a jump start after playing behind a stat stuffed-usage lineup of Westbrook and Durant. If we want to be active in the free agency, this is the splash we have been waiting for.

With all due respect, that may be the most terrible basketball idea I've ever heard. For once, there's already a logjam at the wings. Besides, Waiters is a terrible player that barely belongs in the league. His PER is well below the league average (his "peak" was 14.0 at the second season and last season was at 9.0); he thinks he can score (always had a high usage for a role player, though was assisted only in 34% of his FGs) but is a mediocre mid-range shooter (just above .400 between 10 feet and the 3 point line for his career), a sub-par outside shooter (.334 from three point range for his career and .354 last season) and can't finish inside (.521 in FGs from 0 to 3 feet for his career) - stats via basketballreference. At 6'4 he is not particularly long.

And the idea that he is a veteran who will add experience for the team is preposterous, IMO. Waiters is a guy which never learned how to differentiate a good from a bad shot and never was really willing to become a role player - which was his ceiling. Thus, he doesn't seem to have anything to teach, anything to add.

If that is the "most terrible basketball idea you've ever heard" than maybe you should grow a pair and put an organic idea of your own out there for people to judge. I'm not mad at you because when I hear things as stupid as what comes out of your mouth, it not only non-offending, but almost touching. So innocent, so naive.
I would imagine his usage rate would be down seeing that Russell Westbrook has the 6th highest usage rate in the NBA at 31.6, as well as Keven Durant having the 9th highest usage rate at 30.7. In fact, they are the only 2 players in the usage rating leaders in the top 10 that were on the same team. So yeah, I would imagine that Waiters usage rate would be down. Also being that Westbrook and Durant were his teammates that also dominated in PPG, APG, it probably dropped the rest of his stats believe it or not. I'm not about to write a book about how stupid you are, even though you have just given me the information that I need to write a 5 book series novel based on your stupidity, that would later be turned into a movie. The world most interesting movie about an idiot that had a thought and decided to think it. That would be the title. It would be a boring movie that would be marketed towards the stupid, weak, and idiotic. A movie finally targeted towards your people (other than willow) I would need to warn the audience about the idiotic crap that would about to hear. It would only be fair.

Reading comprehension not your thing?

A main stream article says Jazz won't trade him even with HIGH risk of him walking next summer.

I don't think it's true, but how can you deny the message of the article?! It's in the F'ng title...

Huh?

Was trying to copy your reply which was the exact same as beantown's, about the reading comprehension thing. You asked me that, but found it funny that beantown had also asked that to another member. One of you is stealing the other ones horrible material.
It's not something unique to either of us. The reason I said it in response to your post is that you completely misinterpreted the person you were responding to. Comprehend?
