Any reason you're omitting the first three games Bolomboy played this summer? If included, the two are barely comparable, even with Millsap a full year younger than Bolomboy during his rookie season (not that summer league stats mean a damn thing...).

Per 36:

2006 Millsap: 15.3pts on .601TS 14.5reb 1.6ast 1.9stl 1.1 blk
2016 Bolomboy: 14.1pts on .521TS, 11.0reb 1.9ast 1.0stl 0.4blk

The biggest difference between Sap and Bolomboy is that Sap really focused on what he was good at early in his career. He rebounded and he hustled. Bolomboy was out there trying to shoot 3's, trying to shoot jumpers, trying to post up, etc. While Bolomboy showed some nice reboudning ability every now and then, I didnt see the same fight and tenacity that a young Millsap had.

Bolomboy reminds me of Thurl Bailey. Better shot

I'm not saying that Bolomboy can't play, but making a comparison to Thurl Bailey, makes me wonder if you were around to watch Thurl Bailey? Bolomboy needs credit, but your talking about comparing a guy who has no track record to an established, recorded PF, that comes with years of a proven track record and years of success at the PF position. If you did see Thurl play and remember watching game after game, year after year of what Thurl brought to the Jazz organization, night in and night out. Somehow you still feel that making the comparison between the two is valid and acceptable, than you should check your medication, because it's not. Not this early in the game. Bolomboy qualifies as a 2nd round draft pick (not saying that there aren't studs that come out of the 2nd round), but your comparing him to a 7th pick overall that was Bailey at the time that the NBA draft had 10 rounds. Stop it!

So Trey Lyles didn't make any of the 1st or 2nd all-nba summer league teams in Vegas? I'm like whaaa... did he not play that many games I'm guessing? He tore it up over there. Btw Thon Maker made the 2nd team.

This is my first time seeing the kid and damn, he looks good. I'm hoping he's a find for us. Like one of the announcers stated, Bolomboy seems to have a knack.
