Here it is jazzfanz, the return of Utah Jazz Survivor.

The game is pretty simple. Each round you will vote one player off the team. This will help determine who jazzfanz considers to be the Jazz' best assets.

Things to consider:

Length and terms of contract, player's potential, player's trade value.

For example, Big Al might be a better NBA player than Enes Kanter at this moment, but who is more valuable to the Jazz as an asset?

Have to go with Foye. No real trade value and is a short-term solution as a back-up SG (or token starter who plays 20 mins or less).

It's getting trickier, but I voted for Foye. On a side note, UGLI, you're doing great with the pictures of the eliminated players.

I went with Mowtown and nightmare (I was first but yeah) I' dthink Al would be the obvious choice next. Then it is indeed tricky.

i agree its time to think about whats best for the team.. this will lead to growth.

Foye is definitely gone here. Even though I almost went with Jefferson because of Foye's 3 shooting that hopefully helps the teams offense immensely.

This team needs perimeter shooting and ball handling WAY more than it needs an extra big man who doesn't play defense and who takes minutes from a future all-star.

My thoughts exactly. Lets vote this slump shouldered sack of nuts off the island for good.

now it gets interesting. we're getting into the rotation players, guys we actually expect stuff from. for me it's foye because i expect him to have the smallest role. i think g-time will start at the 2, and obvioulsy burks will get a lot of minutes there. i can't imagine how there's anything more than 15-20 minutes for foye, unless corbin goes crazy with the veteran love again and burks has to wait his turn.

I went with Foye last round - will do so again. Next up ought to be Marvin Williams, no?

not for me. i'm excited about marvin. i'm not sure what i'll do next. i'm still not terribly sold on the mo acquisition. or maybe this is where i finally relinquish the "but al has value" argument since now we'll be talking about 8 guys who all have one kind of value or another.

I'm not sold on Enes. I think he had as good a rookie year as can be expected, but I'm by no means sure he's going to turn into a starter. All the rest seemed like they could probably be starters on a playoff team, except maybe Foye, so I voted for Enes. It was between those two, for me.

Edit: although, now that I remember, we're supposed to be voting based on value as an asset, not just who we want on the team. So maybe I've been voting wrong. Oh, well.

I'm sold on the idea that Kanter will be a Rony Seikally-level player--a good rotation center that hurts teams for doubling on Favors. Would really be great if Kanter can show a solid 15 - 20-ft. jumper to boot.

I'm sorry, but this poll should be called "let's vote for the lowest salary and work our way up." If you look at the team still left on the table who doesn't fit? Who is more in the way than an asset? A 3pt shooter? Really?

This is a public poll! I want you asshats to realize that!

I'm not sure what your ranting about, but let's hope you realize Jefferson could be traded for 3 Foye's and a sack lunch.
Obviously Big Al isn't the choice yet, he has a lot of trade value.

So we vote out the lowest salary, then the next lowest, then the next lowest, then the next. Super big fun!
